I´v just done a complete reinstall of FSX and installed CPH on a clean FSX. And i have to say it´s now running smooth with stable FPS and the drops are gone for the moment. 8)

thanks for the update-that's what I always 'hate' recommending, but sometimes necessary, especially in cases when FSX is 'clogged' with tons of stuff over time.

Yes that´s true.

But i think i have found the reason for this problem.

In my case it was REX. I installed the REX textures and then i had the same FPS dropping again. I then lowered the resolution of Clouds, Water etc. in REX Options and FPS again Stable without dropping. I think the Problem is coming from the REX Water Resolution.

My REX settings are at the lowest in the configuration.

Hm ok. Did you try to install the original backup textures in REX?

Hi,
Yesterday I bought Copenhagen and made fresh FSX installation and I can confirm - also have poor performance with many things disabled in Configurator. Only Budapest from Aerosoft runs with that poor performance on my FSX. I'm sure you'll find the solution and release working patch
All best,
A.

My frames are stable with 30fps locked. The scenery is looking nice and on landing RWY 04L I had no problems.

BUT:

After vacating to the left and taxiing to the terminal I got stutters. That the only problem from my side...

My system at all works fine and normally no stutters.

I ve been trying to pin-point the 'problem area' from your reports, and have created
a panorama spanning all the 'heavy areas' while looking at the terminals.

I do see a slight decrease looking west/north-west, but not significant at those frame rates

Open screen in new tab or 'right-click-->save image as..' to see the full span (FPS count top-left)
Image

i got a smoother result (less FPS drop) using the attached files.

To install:
Run FlyTampa-Configurator.exe and make sure 'Vegetation' panel is set to 'Custom Trees'.
Then grab the attached file and unzip. Copy the contents into
Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-Copenhagen\scenery\ (replace all)

After the 1.1 update my performance problems are fixed. Thanks for the support gents, FlyTampa shows how it is done. Thanks!
