Yes, I did. TNCM was first released in the early days of FSX when everyone (or at least a bunch of ppl) were cheering about "FSX-compliance" and using the new compilers as much as possible. So at the time I assumed that the more common WoAI & others would soon be be using FSX compiled Traffic... Still not the case today, so I decided to switch the traffic BGL format.

FlyTampa -> AFX_22FJ_flytampa_aiship.BGL Date: 18-09-2009

HI
I am having the same issues as ( altstiff ) after the 1.5 update.My frames are locked at 30 and am getting between 20 and 30 at TNCM when first loaded but fall to around 12 after a few minutes..Saba is hitting 30 on approach and as soon as I am on the runway it goes to under 10.no issues at TFFJ,,I will try the patch for Saba ..

The AI Ships cause the frame rate hit.
They were not there in V1.2 due to the fact Martin compiled the traffic BGL in FSX code and I was using FS9 compiled AI flight plans (WOAI).
Using FS9 compiled flight plans in FSX negates any FSX compiled flight plans (they do not work together, you get one or the other)
MARCEL: Yes they do the same thing but one file was compiled in FSX format (if you use FSX native AI) and the default is in FS9 format (for users who use FS9 AI in FSX).

I re-uploaded the 1.5 TNCM Complete Installer (Forum-thread or Downloads page) with the Saba and Barth Platform fixes as well as AI-Ships unchecked by default and a Performance warning. Also it now copies an additional AI-ship traffic BGL into scenery/world/scenery/Traffic_flytampa_aiship_22FJ_(FSX).bak which can be enabled by renaming the file.

Thanks for the re-uploads.I put the 2 fixes in and removed the ship traffic bgl and it works much much better..with frames between 20 to 30.strange the ai ships would cause it to drop off that much.Hopefully you will find a solution so we can have the ships cruising around again
