Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]
Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]
Ok well I think I'll be purchasing this later on today for sure, 30th birthday treat lol. From the first line of your post I am assuming it was yourself who worked on the ADE file, when setting radii did you follow the AIG tables set up in collaboration with Jan Martin and Reggie Fields? They're available here - http://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index ... pic=7481.0 - and quite probably offer the best possible setup available in FS in much the same way that Jan's FDE files will get your AI Aircraft operating also in the best way possible. If not is it allowed to modify the ADE file and release it on sites like AVSIM/Flightsim.com?
Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]
Happy Birthday!
I used following table: http://www.flightsim2004-fanatics.com/F ... Values.htm.
But as I said, I use AI-Aircraft by AIG, FAIB, etc. and have no problems.
I also worked on the AFDs of FBs KIAD, KPHX, KSFO(that one really needs an update) and AFs EFHK (The Installer is broken, there is an update in their forum), if that is a reference for you.
If you modify the ADE I would like to see it, before you upload it. Generally I would have nothing against it, but maybe George.

Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]
Ok that's basically the same table as that's Reggie Fields personal website so in that case my own personal issue may only be the mil_cargo spots and possibly a few missing ICAO codes that have only just come in to being, Xstrata Nickels RAG code for example whereas before they had no ICAO or callsign.
We stayed at the Aloft hotel earlier on this year and had some great views of the airfield and I saw my first 737-200 in real life, one of First Air's which was especially interesting as it also had the gravel kit fitted. Managed to get this picture - http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8525/8632 ... 3c_o_d.jpg - from the Jacques-de-Lesseps viewing park which made me exceedingly happy having moved to Canada three years ago it was the first big jet I'd seen in all that time and I spent the previous decade working at Gatwick Airport, a large chunk in charge of the daily security operation so big aircraft were my life lol. But I'm really straying from the topic here....

I don't mind what you guys do to the AFCADs.
The Mil Cargo spots don't effect AI parking visually. The only annoying thing about them is the fsx starting location list is a little harder to read. The AI still all park at the correct gates. We've not had any complaints about the AFCAD to date, so I think Dan did a really good job.

Thanks George, I just purchased it and am downloading both versions. I'll let you know what I find with the AFCAD/ADE files, if I do publish an update it'll get uploaded to AVSIM/Flightsim.com and announced on my website http://www.realbigtree.com
Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]
Well a few minor errors, some of the holds not touching the runway as they should, a large number of "over" coded bays - 5 parking codes should be the maximum ideally and some overlapping nodes that shouldn't be (there are a few that I see why they are, same as a few unconnected nodes). Overall pretty good, I'm currently collecting gate assignments to see what's changed and emailed Montreal themselves to get some help with some parking that will be unpublished. At that point I'll get in to the radii as well and make sure it's where it needs to be. Sadly on my current computer I only get 1.9fps in FSX so all I can say is roll on Christmas and a new desktop!

Runway texture disappearance
Hi Staff,
I purchased the Montreal scenery a few months back, and I gave it the initial inspection of approval, and all looked good and worked well.
However, upon flying there today for the first time (in FS), when I get close to the runway, the detail textures disappear.
See picture:
When I load up a flight here though, it all works fine. Until I fly out of view range and return to view.
A second problem is the big criss-cross on the textures. Pictured:
I have installed the update at the top of this thread.
Cheers.

Do you have any third party afcads installed?
'My Traffic' AI package installs afcads you can disable in the scenery library which is in the fsx options.

Hi Mr Grimshaw,
Sorry to waste time, but after a complete re-install and installing the Update immediately after, it seems to be working fine for now.
Cheers!

Is it possible to make the jetways work not static?
