Thanks for the reply FSJ.

I found FSX had the island down pretty close. When I played with it in FS9 I
managed to get a huge Flatten down. The AFCAD wasn't hard just REALLY
time consuming. I don't "do" Gmax so I would have had to rely on someone
else for the buildings.

Besides, my scenery design days are over I think. Little projects for myself
are fine but nothing big ever again.

Somebody did an FS9 freeware version of CYVR, it was pretty good but hard on the fps.

Canada has been farely well covered in recent years.

Nigel Grant did CYVR although hard on frames I believe he did a additional set of textures that weren't so frame hungry.

Adam Bentley via CanUK did and awesome version of CYYC as well as a plethora of other canadian strips.
Sidney Schwartz did CYEG & CYYJ
Dennis Di Franco Did another Awesome version of CYYZ
Searching for Craig Mosher, Steve Mosher will get you CYQM, CYHZ,CYYT

Agreed we do need a payware version of YVR, there still are many developers adding to the Great White North.

Nigel just redid his CYVR for FSX.
Don Grovestine did a bang-up YYJ, including the city and floatplane bases.
Sidney Schwartz did a good freeware rendition of Calgary and Edmonton.

The truth is out there...

I think FlyTampa should do a definitive version of that long neglected airport, Nanaimo.
