I have everything Orbx running: Global BASE, Global Vector, OpenLC EU. Turning this off doesn't gain my significant performance, I've seen it go up with 4 FPS at most.

try v-sync off and tripple buffering off. - in P3D settings

have never used these option , and have very good frames rates even with moderate CPU.

With those off there is no difference, and if anything those two on should improve performance. Not make it worse

I dont believe any of those will make any difference. That kind of FPS/performance defect is too big and think it's simply a 'bad sim install' or 'compatibility' issue. A sim re-install is usually the solution, so it's up to whether or not you're willing to go for it.

Thanks for your help again! I am not quite sure a "fresh" install of my sim is something I'm willing to do right now. I recently did so and got everything (except EHAM) working pretty well right now. If I do decide to do so, I'll come back to this thread to update it
