How do you apply schedules? Do you use AIFP?
I do use AIFP, and nearly all of my plans come from AIG and it's user base.

I am starting to go down the AIFP route, though the learning curve a tad steep getting to grips with it.

Do you find you get sufficient coverage with AIG plans. Presently, I use MT6, which has copious amounts of traffic, any where in the world to the extent, I need my traffic sliders down to 25% or less to have a chance of finding parking at some airports. Their schedules are all over the place

Changed several gates sizes at OMDB, and was pleasing to see an AI A380 in one of the 40M bays I changed.

This is purely my opinion but MyTraffic's plans are horribly inaccurate often pairing airline flights to cities that they have never serve. It also often uses completely unrealistic fleets numbers, where say for instance Easy has roughly 220 a/c and Southwest has 710 a/c in real life, MyT may use 300-350+ for Easy and 800-900+ for Southwest. Whatever it takes to fit the plans in. The models and repaints also look pretty gross compared to what is available with freeware.

Using the freeware from AIG, MAIW and the many others does take some time, but the coverage is on par with MyT but it's accurate and uses fleets that are as close to real life as when the plans were sampled from. You won't see airliners operating fictitious city pairings. Another big plus to freeware is that when seeing the AI, the traffic actually looks good.
I've said it before on other forums but MyT is like the figure 8 model train set from the toy store. It's easy to setup and runs well enough, but the stuff that makes your eyes light up and say "wow that looks awesome" is the freeware.

Hi Dave,
Yes, I have some of the FTX Ai operating when I removed MT6, and thought they looked better. Their coverage is pretty limited. And yes, MT could be compared to the figure 8 train set. On many occasions I would have to try and deduce what aircraft was taxiing out or parked. Often using Super Traffic Board to tell me what it thinks it is.

OK, you have confirmed my thoughts and I have to get to grips with AIFP. I always seemed to struggle with the aircraft base models. But, I noticed that FTX put a stack in my simobjects\airplanes..so, maybe AIFP may not be so picky when it looks at what I now have. AIFP colour code its issues. As I am color blind on red/green, purple etc, trying to deduce what error I faced is a little more difficult.

I did have an offer from one of the their forum guys to help me with my first schedule, so, I should stop stuffing about and dive in. Water is always better when you are in^^^
