Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
I've been getting this error
"Error opening file for writing:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\FlyTampa\images\floodlight_ground.png
When doing the install on Dubai and Athen, nothing on sydney, toronto, tampa etc.
Seen this before?

Hey Martin, I noticed at Tampa the lights are on in the day time and some of the glows are a little bit too low on the pole.

The other side the glow is in the right spot but still on in the middle of the day

TNCM looks great, the windsock is a nice touch too.

Afaik, AES needs no changes for these updates. Oliver has checked all these updates before they were released.Querer wrote:1. Are the airports after the update still AES compatible or do we now have to wait for Oliver to adapt AES to the new updates?
If you use AES, you probably can move your older Afcad in there. If you don't use AES and need the new IK-Jetwas, those are within the new Afcad, so replacing it would also remove the new jetways.

Are there any plans for KBOS? Thanks!
Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
So should these be uninstalled via the Start/Programs menu?
Windows 7/64
FSX Gold.
Thanks.

Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
Hi there,
Thanks for the v3 installers! I have actually installed my FlyTampa scenery already using the v3 installation guide. It's currently in a folder outside the P3D installation folder as advised. How should I go about installing the updated versions? Should I just delete the old installation folder and scenery entries and allow the new installers to figure things out? Want to be careful really. They all seem to be working as is but can see you have updated some things which would be great to have (lights etc).
Many thanks
James

Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I will then try both, as I am still using FSX, I guess I could live without IK-Jetways. Just have to keep that in mind if I am going to switch to P3D v3.0. Thanks again for your support and all those updates for freemartin[flytampa] wrote:Querer wrote: If you use AES, you probably can move your older Afcad in there. Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
Sorry if this has been asked, but a few of my Flytampa airports are boxed versions, such as Boston and Hong Kong. How do I go about obtaining revised installer?
Thanks, Pete

Thank you for the new installers. Especially as a P3D user I'm very happy about the IK jetways. Just one question: Do you plan to add the jetways to Montreal and Buffalo as well ?
