And what about the files in the images folder included in the zip file in this post?

I guess they should go into the ...FlyTampa\Images folder but since the images folder included in the zip file in this thread includes 67 files where the already existing ...FlyTampa\Images folder found on my system includes 30 files does that mean that I should simply copy all the new files found in the image folder included in the zip file into this folder on my system overwriting any files already in there? Or should I manually compare the files and only copy the files not already in this folder on my system?

Someone else already said this but the installation routine here could definitely be improved...

Hello folks,

I'm brand new to this forum but certainly not new to FlyTampa scenery for FSX. I have a 1 month old computer and fresh install of FSX and all my FlyTampa airports (I have them all). I, too, am rather confused about adapting to the folder structure change. Please have a look at my current layout and advise if/what I need.

My FlyTampa configurator shows the following :

1 ) Global Settings
2 ) Montreal
3 ) Toronto
4 ) Copenhagen
5 ) Buffalo
6 ) Midway
7 ) Tampa
8 ) Athens
9 ) Dubai
10 ) St Maarten
11 ) Sydney

My scenery library has the following FlyTampa airports not showing in the configurator and are the only FlyTampa entries outside the new FSX\FlyTampa\ location, and thus listed in order of priority as follows:

32 FlyTampa-HongKong D:\FSX\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-HongKong\ (checked as active)
33 FlyTampa-HongKong_LC D:\FSX\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-HongKong_LC\ (checked as active)
134 Mega Airport Vienna X D:\FSX\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-Vienna (checked as active)
135 Mega Airport Vienna X Libraries D:\FSX\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-Libraries (checked as active)
141 FlyTampa Grenadines D:\FSX\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-Grenadines\ (checked as active)
159 FlyTampa-Boston D:\FSX\Addon Scenery\FlyTampa-Boston\ (checked as active)

Using the Scenery Config Editor just to view (I dare not make changes without getting some feedback here - I also backed up my scenery config as a precaution!) it is saying "8 Areas have errors" "Path is not unique, Title is not unique" as follows:

145 FlyTampa-Libraries D:\FSX\FlyTampa\Libraries\ (unchecked)

Any advice on how I should go about arranging/deactivating/deleting any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

All new versions, except Boston, should be listed in the Configurator Tool and installed in /FlyTampa/Airport/

So in your case, you should request (via email) a re-download of the newest versions of Grenadines, Hong Kong, and Vienna. If you remove the old versions of these from /Addon Scenery/ and install the new versions, they will also be in /FlyTampa/Airport. Again, Boston is the only exception that has not been update, but if you want, you could also move Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Boston/ to /FlyTampa/Boston/ as long as you also change the Scenery Library entry for it.

The duplicate Library entries you can/should delete.

Thank you for the clarification Martin. I have emailed but no response yet and I addressed my Vienna issue at that forum because it was bought from Aerosoft - the latest version they have is 2.5. I just checked again now. Still 2.5...

I won't worry about Boston at this juncture. Getting the latest installers for all others and keys seems to be my biggest issue but I will be patient.

they have had both Athens and Vienna latest versions for a long time. Note the post below is from Nov 4 and has a link to the update:
