Martin, thank you so much for doing this for FSX!! I hope my past requests, er begging, was not a thorn in your side. I haven't even looked at it yet, but purchased and downloading now. I'm sure it will be superb.

To follow up my last post, it is absolutely GREAT! It looks great, has very good frame rates (including the volumetric grass), and is interesting from every approach. There's so much unique to this airport, enhanced with the surrounding buildings and FSX traffic. Great job, Martin! :D

Just bought it! Can't wait to get home from work and try it out. :D

One concern I will have is the fact that I have FSDT's KORD installed on my FSXsp2 rig as well. I'm wondering what the performance will be like :|

I have both FSDT's KORD and FT KMDW. I'm not seeing any interference between the two with slow GA aircraft. I think it would only be an issue if you were flying a fighter jet at low altitude over both airports, then you may see an impact. I'm getting around 23-32 fps at each airport, and that's not bad considering I'm using a 3-year old computer.

Ok, Ok, Ok, I just purchased this product, and I have one of the most powerful FSX rigs on the planet and Im sure Dexter1129 can agree but why are the frames so low on this scenery with the recreation Kite flyer. I have FSDT too and my frames are better over there at KORD. Now if my frames are tough with that little default flyer, I can imagine how bad it will be with an ARIANE or Quality Wings or God forbid Captain Sim 757. I know there is a problem with the product, so since FlyTampa usually has the best friendly scenery out there, what are they doing to fix the problem.

We aren't aware of any serious frame rate problems on reasonable recent hardware. I get about 60fps around the whole area with AI set to 50%. You might want to try toggling on/off some other addons or graphics settings you might have.

Ground scenery shadows, bloom & water reflections can kill any fsx system because the code is so inefficient for those features.

What system do you have? Try a re-install from the default scenery state, reboot computer.

I just hope you dont put them through the ringer like you did with Umberto in this thread http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=3422.0 and then after all that tell him you were using a registration key that Spencer from Touch and Go Films gave you and didn't actually purchase the product. Shame, lol...I would never buy a house from you after reading that, hahaha..

Worse case, maybe Brad Robbinson from FrameFreaks88 on YouTube could help you solve this problem as well..

On a serious note, even with your almighty computer, maybe having two detailed airports in close proximity to one another, along with all that AI is a little too much for it to handle. What happens if you reduce your scenery complexity slider a notch or lower AI? Maybe you can pick up some extra FPS that way.

Do you stalk me and Marc on skype... :P . going back to the problem, it could have something to do with the fact that Midway is very close to O'Hare, and if you have flytampa midway, fsdt O'hare, and any traffic addon, well...you will not have amazing fps

To George and the FlyTampa team: I purchased Midway yesterday, and I love it. Though I am a big fan of one of your competitors down under, in my humble opinion (which is rarely incorrect), your airport packages are the best available. I have FSDT O'hare and Aerosoft Chicago which slowed the scenery down a bit, but I'm sure that I will eventually figure out a way to get them all to "play nice." Thank you for countless hours of fun, and I wish you and your company success in the future. Mike Gutierrez. North Hollywood, California.
