MSFS YSSY & KBOS not showing

Will this remove any of my other installed airports or planes?

Back them up but it should rebuild them when it reloads.

Well, I did all that, rebooted the PC, and still no KBOS or YSSY.

I even reinstalled them and they show in the Community folder but not the sim.

Have a look in the content.xml file. See if either scenery is listed and marked as active?

It'll be a line like <Package name="flytampagg-sydney" active="true"/>

It sounds like you have some sort of corruption or have installed in the incorrect location.

All I have is
Package priority=1 name=fs-base-nav
Package priority=2 name=Navigraph-Nav data-base
Package priority=3 name=Navigraph -Nav data

Remember, I’m using the Steam version and it was working, and only FlyTampa is doing this.

I think the steam version should have a content.xml too. Perhaps in another folder?

You have other scenery currently installed?

Yes, I do, a lot of airports.

I just did a test with Orbx Direct.

I uninstalled FeelThere’s TXKF, ran the sim and it was not there.

Then I shut down the sim, used Orbx Direct to install FeelThere’s TXKF and sure enough it was in the sim.

Logic would tell me that something is different with FlyTampa because these are the only two airports not installing. Only FlyTampa’s KBOS and YSSY.

They were installed before I had to reset the cache in Steam. I mean, I LIKE KBOS, I grew up there. Now it’s very discouraging.

It was working . YOU deleted something, now it my fault it doesn't work. Nice logic.

You could try Orbx support. I've no more ideas without looking through your files. Try reinstalling it again now you cleaned up those files. Delete the rolling cache in Options/data. Don't use any custom folder locations until it starts working again. Find your active folder, where all the other great airports are installed and copy our scenery folder into it. Thats the one with all the files in it.

I will do this but I didn't delete anything, I simply did some normal Steam housekeeping.

Remember, this is only FlyTampa. No other vendor's airport is not installing.

Yes, a stand-alone installer would be a good test. Please send.

I don't hate it, it's just not intuitive.

Good morning, I hope you’re well. Please forgive my past rudeness as I really would like these airports to work.

I was hoping when I woke up I’d see a post with a link for a stand-alone installer.

I know how frustrated you are and I am as well. Trying to create a ticket with Orbx is a huge hassle though, they don’t make it easy but I’ll try to make one in a few minutes.

Anyway, I've sent the MSFS serials.
