No joke my friends,

i think the old Hong Kong Airport KAI TAK would be greatest airport project for Fly tampa !!!

Real or not, never mind.

That would be the best surprise for 99% of the people who use the flightsimulator. Thats for sure.

And i am sure, it would be a bestseller for a long loooooooooong time !!!

What ever you do, please for FS 2004 again !!! :D

Jeez, its so pathetic. People, just get a grip on yourselves and learn that they aren't just going to make any scenery you throw at them. I look on the General Forum, there are COUNTLESS numbers of these topics, just give it a rest.

Dude,
Kai Tak is gone. When are people going to get over it? If people are so desperate for Kai Tak then go back to FS8 or FS7 when it still existed in real life. I just don't get the fasination and desperation with this airport. So it had one "challenging" approach. So do countless other airports. And then there's the one post wonders that pop in here and post up their "brilliant, original, never been thought of or posted about" suggestions or requests. People... get a clue. Before you post use the search function of the forum. Your "original" idea has probably already been ridiculed. Thomas_S this isn't completely aimed at you but when I open this forum and read four straight request threads, it kind of gets old. Especially when they've already been requested countless times. If you people are serious about your requests then you need to provide the proper type and amount of source imagery to back it up. Do you think the developers just pull the images out of their asses? If you want to get something then you need to give something or stop wasting everyones bandwidth.
*Steps down from soapbox.

I agree. Kai Tak was a great airport, but so was Stapleton. "Maybe yall should do a stapleton......." HA! Just kidding. Wanted to see what it felt like

At least the Kai-Tak requests will die out soon as the project 9Dragons freeware kai tak scenery is planned to be released in the next upcoming months. It looks very promising indeed

And M.D.Mirion: lol, i never get tired of your photos :)

So this project is still alive? I saw their rather impressive video in 2005, but haven't heard from them since. I couldn't really find a web site containing screenshots either. There's this one, which looks official enough, but there's just not a whole lot of information.

Do you have access to developer's screenshots and FPS performance data, WEAJHD? I would like to see some more of this!

I agree that there is not alot of information about the project, but they did create this thread in flightsimworld afew months ago:

http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/in ... pic=120289

I also sent a PM to the developer in flightsimworld and got this reply:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi There,

And thank you for the interest. No, you're not nagging, but 9D has generated so much interest that it takes time to reply plus we would rather (I think you would to), put the time into modeling the airport rather than talking about it. Our 9Dragons website is www.MileHighProductions.cwhnetworks.com. Just a simple page, more detail to be added as we get closer to release but we are only in Alpha at present. But I would check back there in about a month to see if anything new is brewing.

the best,

Clutch
Project 9Dragons

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

. I guess they dont want to create too much hype until it's released and i can understand that :)

And what about the new Beijin airport...

Is a good location for the next olympic games 2008 and the new terminal is incredible. Also they've a new runway...
