Is there no way to simply have a working version which we can downloaded when using Ortho4Xp without the hassle of needing to use the tool?

I now simply removed the Mesh form the scenery, which enables normal usage of Ortho4xp, but removes some scenery details (like the elevation of the "Schiphol tunnel" over the A4 motorway), so by no means perfect...

Cheers for that.
However I have my own ZL17 photo scenery of The the Netherlands which looks so great...

Hi everyone,

I’ve followed this patch as much as I can but the programme has not done anything, and I’ve left it overnight as well? I’ve got the FlyTampa default overlays around the airport but then have default scenery shortly outside of this area and I don’t know why..

Can someone please assist. Thanks!

Just to help make it clear for others:
- In the muxp tool config screen setup X-plane base folder (so for example "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/X-Plane 11")
- Then press the button "create folder for updated dsf". This fills the "Folder to updated DEFAULT dsf".
- Under the Advanced Settings set the "Fixed source for dsf (Option)" to your Otho4xp tile, in case of EHAM that will be: Custom Scenery/zOrtho4XP_+52+004
- Hit save, close program, reopen.
- In main screen now select the downloaded MUXP file.
- Hit Start muxp
- Wait 2 hours or so (while program is unresponsive)
- Exit program, maybe check scenery_packs.ini to see if all makes sense still or -> Do a test run.
- Success!
I just wanted to say thank you!
This worked perfectly for me!! Yay!!

I use BING ZL 17 Orthos and I apply this Ortho4XP setting to keep high FPS

Together with the EHAM in XP12 looks perfect!!

Well, to consolidate all in one post, the solution to the Netherlands problem in XP12:

1) This solution works with Ortho4XP, with no need for XP11 DSF files, and works for people who use Autoortho and Simheaven, for those who don't it also works

2) If you don't use Ortho4XP, so the only solution is to use XP11 DSF files.

3) with Ortho4XP you have to create orthos for all Netherlands region

4) In the Ortho4XP configuration, just change this value from 0.001 to 0.1

The rest, you know how to sort the Ortho4Xp files in the scenery.ini file, no need for an explanation.

I'm trying to do the MUXP patch, I have ran the program all night for 10 hours and nothing changed. It's still "Searching available meshes for +52+004. Please WAIT ..."

I did everything as instructed. I checked the muxp.config and it looked all good aswell. And by the way in the .zip download of this topic on the first page, for what do you use "EHAM_MUXP.obj"? No one mentioned that
