This doesnt look like our mesh, perhaps using a different/add-on mesh? If unsure, please upload your scenery_packs.ini file to have a look.

Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
I'm not using any other mesh , just ortho. I'm getting an invalid file extension when I try to upload the scenery pack.init file to you

Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
Orthos usually are tied up with mesh data, which, depending on where they are on the scenery order, can override ours.
A small patch to blend ortho with Vegas is ready and will be included in your shop's account very soon.
In the meantime you may .zip the .ini file and attach here.

I'm not clear what you mean by 'my shop's account'

Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
The store where you originally bought the product from. simmarket or Xplane org both have customer accounts where you can login and re-download or get updates from. For BMT store, you will need to request a new download link to receive updates.
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
You can check scenery_packs.ini file to find if Las Vegas is in sequential listed order and above: SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Global Airports/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_LasVegas_0_airport/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_LasVegas_0_city/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_LasVegas_0_overlays/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_LasVegas_1_overlays/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_LasVegas_2_Photoreal/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_LasVegas_3_Mesh/
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
Yeah, everything is where it should be...
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
Are we getting any closer to a fix for this?
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
O.K., I've had enough!! The installer apparently contains ransomware, which my virus software will not allow. Who do I talk to for a refund for this???
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
I think you are not using the correct universal installer which you can download it from here in Flytampa site "Downloads". You should have Antivirus settings off and configured do not look at your sim folders. Try again, you want to miss the best Las Vegas scenery made in the world go ahead and ask Emilios for refund. You will regret. Wait for Emilios answers for your problem with the scenery.
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
I managed to work around the antivirus problem, and reloaded all the scenery AND the ortho patch that was supplied. Fired up X-plane 3 times and 3 times it kept looking for an ortho file then CRASHED! I've never, in my almost 3 years of using X-plane, been so disappointed, and fed up with any payware that I've ever paid for as I am right now! I'm DONE!
Re: Floating buildings, billboards, light standards, etc
I was reviewing this thread and I found the issue. Your KLAS problem is definitely with Ortho. I recommend to do few more steps before giving up.phantom6 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 3:43 pm I managed to work around the antivirus problem, and reloaded all the scenery AND the ortho patch that was supplied. 1. Move Ortho folders to outside of XP11 momentarily.
2. Test Las Vegas KLAS. If success ...
3. Move Ortho back to XP11 to the original place.
4. Test KLAS and if not a success you need to change the order lines for Ortho to be below Las Vegas group from scenery_packs.ini file located in Custom Scenery folder.
You can copy-paste the contents of that file in this thread. Emilios asked you about he needs to see your file. Or you can send the file via email directly to him.
In my scenery_packs.ini I have at the end of the file the following Ortho items:
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/yOrtho4XP_Overlays/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/zOrtho4XP_+24+054 Abu Dhabi ZL16 BI/
Emilios: Sorry if I am trying to give help on this thread. It is my penny collaboration (lol).
