Thank you! As typical, everyone at FlyTampa is very responsive in quickly addressing issues that come up with a new product. In scenery development, it is impossible to anticipate every bug that will pop up. It is refreshing there is such a great team at FlyTampa who quickly fix the bugs that are brought to their attention. Thank you for being so responsive and for this beautiful scenery. I look forward to exploring Las Vegas.

Chuck

Edit;

I just flew my Bonanza for a one and a half hour tour of the FT Las Vegas scenery and I'm amazed at the job y'all did on this scenery. You should be proud of the work that you've done. It is a true masterpiece.

This - the first two posts - should be permanently pinned.

Also, this scenery is absolutely STUNNING!!! I am really impressed on how smooth it runs as well.

Perhaps try disabling these two files as well (I didn't try the FSGU hot-fix):

AEC_KLAS.bgl found in \ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\scenery folder.

APT_KLAS.bgl found in \ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_APT\scenery folder.

Ok so I am using Global Base Pack, GlobalVector, Global Open LC North America, and NA Southern California from Orbx. What do I need to turn off to make sure Las Vegas works. And do I also use the configuration tool within Vector and disable KLAS. Since I am not tech savvy would need some help on this on the right way to go.. Thanks.

I'm wondering the same thing. I currently run FTX Global and OpenLC NA and have zero issues with KLAS. I don't run vector. However, with the current ORBX 50%-off sale for May, I am considering purchasing the Southern California region. What will I need to deactivate if I get ORBX SoCal?

Chuckers wrote: Thu Apr 25, 2019 9:44 pm When flying, the Las Vegas city ground textures sporadically fall downward, leaving temporary square craters with floating buildings. I removed all the listed ORBX files and excluded KLAS. What am I missing? I have a GTX 1080Ti, 32 Gb RAM, i7-7700K at 4.2 GHz, Win 10 Pro, P3DV4.5. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I have this too. FS Global Ultimate NG was the culprit, so deactivating it for North America in the scenery library solved the issue. Maybe you have that or some other custom mesh installed? Emilios is working on looking into the issue I believe.
I utilized the FSGUNG AFM2, listing KLAS, and the problem continues to exist. I don't plan on deactivating North America, as there are several mountainous areas that I enjoy experiencing. Is it possible that the FT KLAS elevation areas, including the city, are fixed so that this problem doesn't occur? I'm surprised that this wasn't discovered during beta testing. It's beautiful scenery. I look forward to it working flawlessly. Thanks, in advance, for any advice or assistance you can provide.
have you tried the FSGU hotfix from below? that should fix it permanently

That fix worked for me, after completing the Orbx bgl-->off steps as well.

Hey All,

i installed the 1.1 but i still have the Elevation issue :(

use FTX Global, Vector, SOCAL and FSGlobal Ultimate Mesh :(

I disabled the 4 Files and also disabled KLAS in Vector.

brgds

--------- Update:

issiue solved, it seems for some reason the ADE_FTX_SCA_KLAS_elevation_adjusment.bgl in the \Scenery\World\Scenery folder has been reneabled. After i set it to .off again everything looks fine :)
