"Forgotten Jewels" is always something I'm interested in, I'll have a look Portland after my current project.

PDX payware does exist

Just so everyone knows, KPDX is out there for a nominal fee. I'd like to see a version of PDX done that matches the quality of other Tampa-style airports.

The link for PDX is http://www.northwestsceneries.com/pdx2004.htm

Portland

I am the quote on quote CEO of Northwest Sceneries LOL

I noticed from my web tools that I was being linked to from here.

I wish FLY TAMPA would make a Portland. Scenery Design is not an easy task at all. FLY TAMPA has it down! We started out in GMAX, but got frustrated with and and stopped in favor of some "outdated" but familiar scenery design tools.

Our product is no where near the quality, but we felt it was rediculous to add so much detail. Especially to parts of the Airport that arent visible from taxiways tarmacs and runways. What we did do is represent Portland in "good enough" detail. We made sure there were noticeable landmarks buildings and hangars and this why we only charge $4.95.

FLY TAMPA should do Portland later on there is a high demand for it, Although, I don't think its as high as PHX or SFO.

I guess anybody and everybody is free to express his/her opinion...however, be aware when you do this you express to others your sincere inability to process information, otherwise known as "thinking."

You said about KSFO - MS has it in the default and Simfleyers is working on it. SF isn't working on anything that anybody is aware of except KMSP and KPHX...SFO may be in their list of things, but it surely isn't a top priority. AND MS may have it in the default, but therein lies the whole problem!!! Default scenery sucks compared to payware...sfo included.

KLGA may be done in freeware but I have NEVER seen freeware (and I have seen alot of freewrare) that was done to the express ability of FlyTampa. In fact, SimFlyers can't even hold a candle to FT's works.

Quite frankly, your thought processes are just invalid and non-logical at their core. Have a look around and see your sim world changing...enjoy the view :)

the problem with the default ksea (and all of default airports is this)...first...all of the jetways are too high to line up with the aircraft doors..and they are very unrealistic looking...also .all of the building textures look the same in every airport...now , most important....there are NO parked static aircraft..the only way to make the airport not look like a ghost town with 95% of the gates empty..is to incorperate an additional AI traffic program ,and set the traffic to 100%....this is no solution because then there is so much flying traffic that you land on top of other landing aircraft...and have to wait 15 minites before you have enough of a gap to respond to atc instructions.......i have the best klga freeware there is ...and this lack of static aircraft problem ruins it..I love the more realistic jetways of fly tampa ksea and the parked planes...and i am very much looking forward to a klga that has static planes included.

This does not really sound appreciative for the hard work that the modelers at FlyTampa put into their sceneries.

Why has this thread been resurrected after roughly a year and 3 months? Am I missing something?

Terrible knews coming from FlyTampa

I think That FLyTampa scenery is actually the best payware yet. Ihardly loose any fps and the detail is amazing. There is no reason to be bashing any of the two companies (besides the fact SF scenery kills fps anyway :D ). The FlyTampa team has done a great job on KSEA especially and iv bought everyone except Dubai. They are affordable and fps friendly as far as i know.
I wouldnt mind at all if FlyTampa decides to do a not "well known" airport, i think it interesting personally. Keep up The good work FLyTampa! :D :D :D

it is honestly quite amazing what people say ..
Fly Tampa is perhaps THE best scenery designig name out there for FS .. however George and Martin don't have to make the airports they make, they simply choose to do so .. yes everyone has the right to an opinion but if they are doing such a great job why would you demand more from them? If you want any specific airport YOU try designing it and lets see how long you will take and how good of a job you will do.. the airports they have chosen up to date are nothing but breathtaking .. Seems like nothing is good enough for anyone now days .. they do an excellent job and you praise them for it for what? a week? and then what? complaints? but this!! but that!! .. I would suggest that a lot of people lay off Fly Tampa and just let them build their airports its a hobby and they are doing it because they like it .. and you don't have to buy them .. you simply choose which to buy or not buy .. the way you put things is like you are simply forced to buy them .. and guess what I know no one here has any regrets on purchasing any Fly Tampa sceneries .. Just let them do the work and if you can't do it as perfect as they can then don't criticize .. I love their work and I don't care how many versions of any given airport are out there I will always look into theirs .. George & Martin I am a HUGE fan of your work ..
