Next Airport?

I personally think that FlyTampa could do a kick-tail job on some of the smaller general aviation airports that most people neglect. Perhaps a Chicago General Aviation Pack that would include:

KDPA
KPWK
KAUZ

I have always wanted to do KAUZ (as I do scenery myself) but I don't have very many photos to do it.

My next thought for an US airport would render to KMKE Milwakee! Flew through there once last year on FL between KLGA and KLAX. Very nice and small airport.

This is a glog shot, but how about KATL? Imaginesim did the worlds bussiest airport no justace at all!! Now I know you said that you didn't want to do a large airport, but for what it's worth, it has th be the easiest airport to do for the simple fact that all the terminals look almost exactly the same. So it's like the same scenery objects but with the minor differences. The other upside is having the surrounding popular hotels and the Delta Training Center. I spent a month there back in 07 training for MAXjet.

My next European airport second to Prague would be Fiume, Malpensa.

Btw there is a really good freeware for Graz already. It has AES, but I don't fly there. Gianni has already started work on payware Klagenfurt and Saltzburg...

I have Shez Ansari's SoCal airports and they're pretty good on the freeware tip. I wouldn't mind an SNA or ONT from FlyTampa though. MHT or BDL in the northeast are surrounded by other sceneries to hop around. RNO or FAT in the west also.

Yes and his BUR and SNA are getting quite old now even for FS9.

This might be a good airport...Very pretty setting and with Sim-wings doing Anchorage and Fairbanks airports, it could be a good destination and not much prettier.

HI bkircher, the thing is I completely understand where you are coming from and believe me i d love to work on something so big in the future, but the thing is they are a bit too big for me in my present situation, or they are being done by someone else. How about we reach a consensus here and go for something in the middle which is neither too big nor too small like....Athens?Top

Sure you could do that, I personally would not buy it as per I rarely fly internationally. But out of all the big name places that are listed here and at FSDT, not all of them are being done. IAH/LAX looks to be like one of FSDTS next projects, but after that you could pick one. I know EWR would sell very well. I'm trying not to lobby for a specific airport, but if I were, I would be requesting PHX every day because that is the biggest airport that is closest to where I live that has yet to be done since Simflyers. But, I'm sure there would somewhat of a demand for Athens, but then again I don't know, I don't fly internationally so I would never buy it or know what is needed across the pond. In the past, it just seems like the US airports tend to out sell the international ones depending on the location.

You should give international flying a chance you don't necessarily have to start in the states down to Europe. you could start with in airport like London or France and fly too different places from there. why limit yourself in the sim when you can go anywhere in the world just a thought or you can watch something like the most dangerous airports and get inspired to fly outside of the states you ever flown too south America? peru there are some crazy airports.

& those of you still suggesting large mega hubs, I won't touch anything which doesn't have at least 80fps by default in FSX.
PHX, LAX, EWR certainly don't. I guessing you are FS9ers or FSXers that think 15fps touch downs are smooth

Honestly, anything in the 20s is fine with me because beyond a certain point, the difference is negligible to the human eye.

First post here, but got most of your sceneries. A long time ago in this thread, you mentioned an airport in Japan that you'd forgotten. Wasn't Kansai (RJBB) perchance? Watched a show in the Discovery Channel about this airport, building a new island and etc. At least the surrounds would be easy to build for FS!

FPS needs to be much higher than 20 for me.
Check out the FPS Compare app found here http://www.tweakguides.com/Graphics_5.html. Once running, switch to the landscape scene by pressing F2. There's a massive difference between 30 & 60fps.

Sir Donald Sangster International Airport (IATA: MBJ, ICAO: MKJS) is an international airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and is one of the largest and busiest airports in the Caribbean.It is one of the most ultra-modern airports in the Caribbean capable of handling 9 million passengers yearly; that is three times the size of the Jamaican population Sangster is often referred to as the gateway to the Caribbean. It serves as the most popular airport for tourists visiting the north coast of Jamaica. MBJ is currently the busier of Jamaica's two main airports, the other being Norman Manley International Airport located in the capital city of Kingston.

Over the years, the upgrading process was a continuous one, ultimately the facility had grown into the larger of the two international airports in Jamaica, handling approximately 3.7 million passengers per annum in 2007,and have seen and increase in passenger and aircraft movement since the start of 2008.They are currently seeking to increase the number of passengers from Asia, and are working with Brazil to receive non-stop service from there.

Athens, because Aerosoft has the holiday airports 1 package comming. They already finished Kos.
