Thanks for the shots, those should help me track down the issue.

I thought of doing a video as well if you would like to see transitions. It appears that there are 2 copies of the same airport.

Since I cannot replicate the issue and it only seems to affect some users, maybe you can help me test:

download:
https://www.flytampa.org/dwl/flytampa_t ... odelLib.7z

extract and overwrite the file in:
/community/flytampa-toronto/scenery/global/

Look specifically at this area marked red, if it still renders like before with the double lines or if it looks opaque with single lines now. Post another shot in just in case please.

Not sure if I hit the right area, but this is what I'm seeing.

Interesting that you're seeing something different from me. I'm wondering if it has to do with graphics settings or level of detail?

Not sure. Looks like we both have a completely different set of taxiway and line textures.

And the terminal buildings are all gone but I figured it was as a result of the replacement file. Plus I'm seeing what looks like static aircraft, but it feels like they're coming from the default airport. Man, this is so confusing. LOL

Maybe a shot in the dark here, but did you update the layout.json file after you replaced the flytampa_toronto_modelLib.bgl file?
The one Martin posted is 1KB different in size from the original and I had read somewhere that MSFS 2024 is more picky than MSFS2020 about file sizes listed in the layout.json.
I just updated mine out of habit before I started the sim.

No I didn't. I just replaced the file. How would one do that?

I just exited now, deleted the rolling cache and re-loaded the sim.

Same. No buildings.

The layout.json file for CYYZ is located in the root directory of the FlyTampa Toronto scenery (each addon in your community folder has it's own layout.json file). You can use "MSFS Layout Generator" (see link below) to easily update any layout.json file. It is a simple drag and drop procedure.

Nice shot in the dark! That did it. Thank you. I never knew this was ever a thing and I've been running MSFS since launch 2020.

Thanks for the test and screenshot. This area looks like expected now. I will go ahead and apply this to the rest and post another file to test later.
PS: There is no need to edit layout.json or other files for the test I posted.
PS2: No idea about the buildings, we can check that again after the ground is working for you.
