LGAV Ground Layout

Good morning,

The ground layout of Athens (LGAV) was subject to an update last Septemeber, 2023, with AIRAC 2309. New stands and taxiway C Green have been added and the GA apron has been relocated.

Additionally, please proceed with a sweep of all taxiways, gates, runway objects etc, to ensure that all entries are included. E.g missing lines at intersections D4, D6, D7, papi lights positions for 21L/21R.

We would appreciate an update to the scenery especially considering that approximately 1 year has elapsed since these updates. Please take care of the scenery when these types of changes are made, since they are responsible for operational changes.

Its on my radar but will be have to wait.
That area of the airport is one of the least photographed spots on earth. I'll at least need decent aerial images and shots of the new FBO etc.
Just checked; all the aerials available are out of date and poor quality.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will attach a link for all the charts via e-mail shortly.

D4, D6, D7 are all missing a taxi line to E as displayed in the image below.

Regarding satellite imagery quality, you can take a look at ARCGIS map viewer where the airport is displayed in detail and with the up to date layout.

We will be waiting for the update.

I can provide some pictures of the buildings since I work at Athens Airport. I always end up in that area since its very much used especially in the early morning or late at night (in my shift).
