That's not the problem. I don't mind waiting, but I hate waiting in vain. Lately I was getting the impression that I was waiting in vain, that there was no development going on at all.

When I'm at work working on a certain project my boss always asks me, how long will that take? That's not a crazy question. Then when the time I said it would take has passed my boss is there to see if it's done. He's very patient, but targets need to be met. If I'm not done by the time I said I would be done he's pissed at me, and for good reason.

I don't sense that same attitude with FlyTampa, it's like nobody ever asks how long something will take and then checks to see if it's done when that time has passed.

They could've hinted at a wait period in the last post on 28th April. 'Soon' is now two months and counting. I don't mind the wait and know the end product will be worth it. Just setting right expectations is where I am coming from.

If you look up the word soon you will get i.e. "Soon is defined as in a short time, in the near future or quickly." So indeed posting this at the end of April was a bit misleading. Of course there can be some sudden issues, but if you communicate that I think everyone accepts a delay. Now we only see a post 'Soon' and then silence.

Agreed, the problem is a total lack of communication. That leads to irritation, nothing is as annoying as being left in the dark. Not knowing what's going on.

If FlyTampa would simply have given updates every once in a while there wouldn't have been any problem. You need more time? Fine, no problem. But say so! Communicate and it's okay, don't communicate and it's not okay.

I would like to know why FlyTampa needs so much time. There probably is a good reason for it, but if that reason is not told that makes it a bit hard accepting it. Tell it and I can accept it, but I can't accept something if I don't know about it.

At this stage, I don't mind if we get a portover of the P3D version for MSFS... although kind of outdated, it will be much better than anything that it's available right now.

And, it will buy us some time until the final MSFS version is released. It would go as an "Early Bird" scenery...

Even more, I'm confident that the P3D version portover, will be quite good at FPS, considering that EHAM is such a detailed and demanding resources scenery.

FlyTampa team... please, consider this option... I will buy it right now!

Have a nice weekend!

We are testing Amsterdam for MSFS now, it shouldn't take much longer :)

That's great news!

However remember what I said, communication. Should it be that during testing you find something that needs to be fixed before release, that's fine. Such things happen. But say so! Just a simple message can do wonders.

You said it wouldn't take much longer before, keep that in mind. If you say that too often it loses it's value. Besides, how much longer is much longer? Days? Weeks? Months?

You're not special. Your not a share holder. They owe you NOTHING.

You miss the point completely. It is about engagement rather than someone owing someone else something.

What an indedibly toxic reply to a very reasonable request.
