8l help

When i tried to land at 8l the loc worked but the gs did not. I have Jim Vile kmia_ils_jv_v2.0 zip and an afcad by Adrian Norman and update 1.6

Isnt 8L a LOC only approach? Maybe its changed since the last time i checked...

The combination of files you listed are the best available for version 1.6

Runways 8L, 26R and 30 are all LOC/DME runways only (no GP) as per current Jeppesen Plates.

When I wrote the xml for the Approach data to these runways I coded them so ATC will vector the AI Planes to these runways when weather falls below 3 miles. However, because the AFCAD file does not have a GP ticked, ATC will only vector the User Aircraft to land on these runways when visibility is above 3 miles.

Real world KMIA: ILS for 30 (ohh, last 18-24 months or so, I believe). Concur 8L/26R is LOC/DME.
