Conflicting AFCAD Files Help

Post by Ryan83 » Thu Jan 27, 2022 5:06 pm

Can someone help me with the above.

I think this may be the answer I’m looking for.

How and where do I find a conflicting AFCAD file with EHAM2. If I can find it, I’m certain it’ll eliminate the crash issue I’m having

P3D 4.5 and I can list my add ons if required

You could try running a windows search with *EHAM keyword and see what comes up first.

You’re alive! Thank you for getting back to me. Ok I’ve used several apps and found that there do not appear to be any conflicting AFCAD files. I have tried all the trouble shoots. Nothing has worked to date.

The main issues are the layers and that the aircraft is never positioned on the correct place. Also when I do get an aircraft rolling from the active runway, it appears to crash on to an ibis able wall or something.

I’m so close to fixing it. I deleted the Amsterd.bgl in the main scenery/world/EURW folder. It was nearly fixed. Except only jetways with no buildings now. Also the Amsterdam scenery has disappeared from the scenery list.

So close

Emilios I know you’re probably frustrated as hell with this issue, but I’ve been looking at several forums as well as this. I’m not alone in this problem. I set up a flight when I thought I had got to the problem, and it loaded the aircraft in to a fence. In fact no matter where I select in terms of position, it always loads to the same point in the fence.

There was no crash as I had turned that off.

There are no other programmes effecting the FlyTampa airport. There is a bug or two within the software. I wish you could actually see my computer to see what’s happening.

I have run out of ideas

I do feel like I’m talking to myself. I’ve requested a refund from sim market. They will not refund me until you tell them it’s not working. If you can’t provide support for this, could you at least tell them to refund my money for this product. I’m sure you’ll get it fixed eventually. Then I can look at it again

I ran *EHAM through windows. Nothing.

So I’m only now left with an invisible layer somewhere causing crashes every time I load the airport with crash detection on.

My scenery list is at the top. I appear to be missing the Amsterdam_LC. Could this be the issue?

Ok I’ve got it working now. Not perfect but it’s working.

So if I could have some help.

As long as I keep crash detection off, the airport is usable and I have to say, design wise, one of the best.

However there’s always an instant crash as soon as I put the crash detection on.

So there is an invisible force field ie another hidden layer somewhere conflicting. I have no other addons in that area.

The default airport when I was testing, did seem quite detailed for 4.5.

They are the only other AFCAD files listed ( I used the duck thingy programme. I tried adding an exclusion to that file. Did not work)

Default scenery is in folder 0601. I think at this stage that is causing the conflict but cannot find a way to fix it. Please if you can shed any light on this
