Can you please add parking codes to your BGL

Hi FlyTampa,

Doesn't appear to be AI parking codes assigned to any of the parking positions at YSSY. Not sure why, MSFS will park AI in the appropriate places if the right codes are used (same as it did with FSX and P3D).

Is there a reason you didn't add parking codes? Seems a five minute task when you're drawing the parking positions. If it was still P3D I'd edit the BGL with ADE and add them myself but ADE won't open/save your BGL correctly.

I don't think msfs supported parking codes when the scenery was made.

I'll look into updating them in the next update. Very busy with Boston at the moment.

Thanks George - much appreciated. MSFS is now recognizing the airline codes.

You could just replicate the same data that existed in your P3D scenery - I don't think any gate assignments have changed.

Just in case, this fella is making a lot of upgrades to AFCADs at MSFS.... maybe it will help to use as base or maybe ask him for assistance:

This could also work for KLAS - since it's quite annoying to have the AI Traffic parked anywhere... Next to me at Terminal C, it's all Frontier, Spirit, etc... instead of Southwest... for instance...

It looks like its just for default airports I'm afraid.

I'll try and update ATH and SYD really soon. No one has sent me any parking info tho, so I guess I have a tedious task looking at pictures and flight trackers.

...and as far as I know, there isn't a tool for adding the codes, even in the asobo sdk. So I have to hand edit them into the build xml code.

Yep, those are for Default, but maybe he can assist you with the data...

I recall FT YSSY at P3D worked fine, so you can just use it as reference, the same for both ATH and LAS.. ;)

Please, if you go through it, please consider KLAS as well.. the parking codes there aren't right.

I've never posted on this forum but saw the opportunity when I downloaded both GSX and FSLTL. I find that international aircraft are parked at the domestic Virgin terminal. I'm not sure if this is part of the gist of previous messages but I'm wondering if coding of aircraft operators (airlines) or aircraft types can be altered to reflect correct parking terminals and positions. I interrogated Chartfox which shows types of aircraft for each of the internationl and domestic bays if that helps (GEN Apron Chart - Dom pages 1/2/3 and Intern Pages 1/2)

Was this ever done? . Still seeing some odd parking, like Rex S340 parking at Gate 50 Int'l or over at the remote stand next to the static 380, or Qantaslink not even using it's spot next to the area around from hangar 271(bay 64-70), instead also parking over on the Int'l side bay 11 ,12 or elsewhere
