Boston 4.3 CTD

Post by tgroth » Sat Oct 16, 2021 9:07 pm

Recently purchased a Jetline Systems GT-2. The following scenery's (fresh installs) are loaded in the sim. FlyTampa Boston, Amsterdam, and Las Vegas. In addition I have MK Studio Dublin and Aerosoft Boston City scenery. Both Boston and Dublin CTD 60 to 90 seconds after they have loaded. No issues with Amsterdam or Vegas. I use the following programs in addition to above named scenery :Prepar3D_v5_Professional_5.2.22.27615, GSX Level 2 version 2.9.4 , ActiveSky P3D For Prepar3D v5 build 7877,Active Sky Cloud Art , and PMDG 737 NGXu. Active Sky and NGXu where not active when the crashes occurred. Windows 10 updates are current as is Nvidia drivers for the RTX 3080. Looong time user of FlyTampa scenery and never had a CTD with FlyTampa products. Not sure has to proceed from here.

Probably VRAM full with all those addons. Try a default plane and see if that crashes.

It could be anything. Couatl64_P3D.exe (GSX) is getting blamed for the crash but those windows reports mean nothing most the time.
Keep trying various settings, reduce some p3d settings to see if that helps.
