SLOW download

I try to be understanding, but in 2020 having customers experience download speeds in 100's of KB/sec is really unacceptable!

Time to upgrade your servers/bandwidth.

I'm currently installing Vegas for MSFS using US server and getting below 700KB/s. What should be a less than 1-2 minute install is turning into a 20 Min. ordeal.

Download is a disaster. Just downloaded P3Dv5.1 with more than 20 GB in approx. 15 min. Now FlyTampa Las Vegas shows me 10 kBps (in words: ten!!!!!) and 42 hours remaining. This is ridicoulous! Seems like this problem has been there for a while and nobody seems to care. You are kidding us!!!

Seems okay here. I'm in the UK using the US server and it downloaded KLAS in 50seconds.

Where are you located? Proxy server or firewall issue?

It turned out to be an AWS problem, solved it by going through a proxy, all working well now, thanks and Merry Christmas!

What is AWS? Amazon ISP?

Amazon Web Services. For some reason downloads are extremely slow in Germany. Using a VPN curiously solves this problem, however...

I am downloading from Germany as well and first hasitated to buy another product. I tried the normal way without a VPN and ended up with 25 kBps.

But your advise helped and I could download at good speed with a VPN. See screenshot.

Yet the first attempt failed and I was asked to use a different download server.

Ending up in downloading from Amsterdam via USA to Germany things worked and it took less than 10 min. Thanks a lot for the hint!!!

Any news regarding this slow downloads? Its impossible for me to download my payware products since days....

Gentlemen, why don't you change providers for your servers? The situation when users are forced to use paid VPN to download a newly purchased port is absurd. At the same time, at the end slow download you can see an error.

I think it only effect users in Germany. The servers are fast, there's just something German ISPs don't like about them.

Not only, unfortunately. I am now trying to download EKCH, this is already the third attempt, the first two ended in error. Two hours of wasted time. Geographically I am on the territory of Ukraine.
