VDGS functionality

Hi,
I am not sure what i have missed but i have VDGS 1,1 installed and active and also enabled VDGS in the Flytampa configurator but the VDGS´s is just all black .
Is there something else i need to do ?
I have version 2.1 installed
Btw - hitting the SODE menu and "activate VDGS" it just jumbs back to deactivate

Btw 2 :-) : there is no conflicting files in the virtually/GSX folder

Also EKCH FT works fine

Try a different plane or gate. THe only time ive seen the VDGS come on and then switch off, is when my plane isn't suitable for the gate.

Can we try another way around like you tell me which aircraft that works ? :-)
I have tried with PMDG 737,747 and FSL A319,A320,A321 at several gates with no VDGS working :-)

Maybe I can help Michael. If I start at Sydney i.e.parked at D49 the VDGS is blank. If I fly into Sydney and taxi to D49 the VDGS comes on and guides me to the gate, and then goes blank.

Thus far, it only comes on taxiing to the gate. I can’t make it come at the gate, like your experience. I have same aircraft as yourself.

I don't think they do any thing if you are just sat at the gate.
The correct gate needs selecting from the SODE menu before you taxi in? I'm not sure if the latest version has a auto feature yet.
I tested it with the Qualitywings 787 and PMDG 777.

That was great info , I just did a flight in the FSLA320 YMML-YSSY and as you describe using the GSX gate (50 - international) of choice the VDGS was " on" at arrival.

It seems that it only works on arrival
