2 requests for Copenhagen airport

Thank you so much for the great Copenhagen airport for MSFS. Having been born, and still living, in Copenhagen, and being a frequent traveller, I must have been to this airport hundreds of times by now, and it's a pleasure to see it in the sim :-)

I do have 2 requests - one small, and one big!

1) The small one: I was slightly disappointed to see that the very recognizable "KØBENHAVN COPENHAGEN" sign above the B-terminal is not included. I always look for this when returning to Copenhagen, its combination of the local and English name for the city being a nice reminder that I've returned to my hometown. I'm attaching a few reference photos.

2) The nearby village of St. Magleby (nearby meaning literally on the other side of the airport fence to the south-west) is unfortunately not based on photogrammetry, and the Microsoft AI has made the small houses and farms into massive mansions and three-story buildings. My parents live in that village (the big red house next to the firepond), and I'd love to have a more close-to-reality experience there :) Take a look at google streetmaps to better understand what I'm talking about.


I hope you'll continue to develop and refine this magnificent airport and its surroundings! Great work so far!

Thanks for the kind words and the note on these two issues.

About the "KØBENHAVN COPENHAGEN", I was under the impression that this was based on top of the old terminal, which is now replaced with the new facade. On my visit at EKCH, I did not see this sign, or it was very well hidden behind the new terminal block.

I tried to look at Google Maps, but even in 3D view I can't see it myself, so I can't say the exact location - but I tweeted the airport, and they say it's still there...

The sign was definitely taken down in the period of the construction, and i didn't see it either when i was there last time. But i looked at some new photos of the terminal and apparently the sign has been placed again on top of the new facade. I wouldn't care if the sign won't be moddeled since the moddeling is based on the timeperiod of when the sign was taken down, but it would certainly be nice to have it :)

Sounds likely, and thanks for the updated photo! I'm flying in with a regional flight from EKRN on Wednesday and will see if I can spot it with my own eyes ;-)

I recognized there are trees next to taxiway B after vacating 22L, while in reality there are no trees on those areas. Maybe this could be rectified, otherwise a large aircraft might have wing damage...;-)
