Thanks !
In the meantime, just for testing I have uninstalled ORBX AU completely and that also doesn't solve the problem.

Starting to find ways to potentially rectify the ground popping. Below is a replacement file that should help for now. I have something more robust in mind for the patch/installer update.

Copy the attached file into YourP3D4.5\Flytampa\Sydney folder. Overwrite original.

Why are you sticking with V4? If you don't mind me asking.
For me, I am waiting on 5.1. Will hold off installing this until 5.1 is out. Being that you have a "shader" included for a future version leads me to believe you have a beta of 5.1 and have got the scenery set up for it. That tells me we must be close to release. Once out, its a full clean out of the computer and start from scratch on 5.1.

That ADEX file seemed to stop the flickering which is great so i guess whats left are the smaller little fixes and shader which will come maybe with the update soon?

Thanks George

I too have the ground flickering issue, which frankly is a a pain. I plan to stick with V4.5 because there are no CTD with OOM errors which I continually got with V5, so a fix would be very welcome indeed. The advertising does indicate that the scenery is compatible with V 4.5...

Working now with the fixed AFCAD. Looking forward to seeing the other fixes make it into the patch. It would be great to see some alternate tree textures which look decent in P3D v4 uploaded to the forums if the installer files have to be unified.

Hi,

I also had the problem where all the ground textures disappear.
I have Orbx AU v2 installed as an add on library.
I managed to overcome the problem by:
1. Changing the 3 files in the AU v2 too "off"

ADE_FTX_AUS_YSSY.off
ADE_FTX_AUS_YSSY_CVX.off
FTX_AUS_YSSY_objects.off

2. Changing the order in Orbx central like in the picture below:

Hi everyone, I am having an issue with floating objects after installing YSSY 2.1 on P3DV4.5.

See screenshots. Can anyone suggest a suitable fix?

what version of 4.5? looks like you do not have the hotfix3 for the content and client that fixes PBR bugs

Hi guys,

I am wondering if anyone can assist because I am still having issues with floating objects in Sydney on P3DV4.5

I checked P3D Client and I have included the versions for you to review in the screenshots attached to this reply. I believe this means I have the latest Hotfix?

Lastly, there still seems to be an issue between the base Orbx textures conflicting with Fly Tamps Sydney on the runways and taxiways. See screenshots where for some views i get the default markings and on other views i get the Fly Tampa textures. I have placed Fly Tampa at the top of my insertion point in the Orbx settings (see screenshot).

I would really appreciate any advice on how to fix this once and for all.

Many thanks!!
