Hotfixes [X-Plane]
To install, extract the .zip and drop the 'Custom Scenery' folder into your XPlane-11 root folder (replace all)
Fixed:
-Better blending with default terrain
-Hardened apron surfaces
-Added tower view (South Tower)
-Additional option that removes static aircraft
To use the 'no statics' option, copy the .dsf from the 'Custom Scenery\FlyTampa_Copenhagen_0_airport\EarthNavData\+50+010\no_statics' folder into the main +50+010 folder and replace. To revert back to the initial release file, copy the .dsf file from the 'original' folder into the main +50+010 folder and replace.

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
So i think i understand how to apply the fix, but what are we supposed to do with the backup? Are we supposed to just overwrite the dsf file in the airport 0 in custom scenery by adding the dsf file you added? What do we do with the backup of the original dsf file?
Sorry if im completely misunderstanding something.

Keeping a backup is just in case anything is wrong and you need to revert back to the original file.christianrosnes wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 11:38 am So i think i understand how to apply the fix, but what are we supposed to do with the backup? I have now removed the comment since the fix appears to be stable now. Just replace your dsf file with the one from the .zip
Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
Hi!
Thx for the hortfix!. Just a follow up question here: I see in the mentioned folder, there is a file called "+55+012_stock.off" I recon this is a DSF without static aircrafts ? (to use, just rename to +55+012.dsf i guess ?). If this is the case, do you have a hotfix for this file as well ? I am primaerly flying online on Vatsim, and prefer to use aiports without static aircrafts.

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
The '+55+012_stock.off' backup is a backup file without SAM models. That's in case a user did not have SAM, to avoid crashing XPlane from loading the airport.
Currently I dont have a 'no-static' version, I will post one soon on the hotfix thread here

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
So I just downloaded the hotfix, but the checksum for the original file and hotfix file (+55+012.dsf) is the same. I downloaded the macOS/Linux version 7-zip less than an hour ago (May 11 just before 2100Z), had the fix for the asphalt already been included in the full download at that point?
Code: Select all
SHA256(/Users/tim/Downloads/FlyTampa EKCH V2 0 XP/Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Copenhagen_0_airport/Earth nav data/+50+010/+55+012.dsf)= 0e321b28704097f42f79f9c22337e36ab7cd2da32eda140457428a7d82dcfcde
SHA256(/Users/tim/Downloads/EarthNavData/+55+012.dsf)= 0e321b28704097f42f79f9c22337e36ab7cd2da32eda140457428a7d82dcfcde

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
The hotfix had been already included at that point.

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
Cool; just wanted to be sure there wasn't a mixup when the hotfix was modified to include a no-static option. Thanks!

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
no problem. The 'no_static' option is reserved in a separate folder for those who want to use it (ie would not replace any files ).Tim/Rodeo314 wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 7:29 am Cool; just wanted to be sure there wasn't a mixup when the hotfix was modified to include a no-static option. Thanks!
Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
Installed today Copenhagen for X-Plane 11. Do I need that EarthNavData.zip file or is included already with v2 Installer?emilios[flytampa] wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 10:27 am Fixed an issue where asphalt/ground on the aprons is rough and requires extra thrust.
Includes an option where the static aircraft are removed. To use that option, copy the .dsf from the 'no_statics' folder into the main +50+010 folder and replace. To revert back to the initial release file, copy the .dsf file from the 'original' folder into the main +50+010 folder and replace.
download: EarthNavData.zip
Drop all files and folders into 'X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\FlyTampa_Copenhagen_0_airport\Earth nav data\+50+010' and replace

Re: Hotfixes [X-Plane]
Any chance you could add a proper tower view?
...and edited to say thanks for the quick fix for the ground friction issue plus for adding the no static option file. Meaning I won't have to use WED doing it myself ;-)
