I think you can achieve the same frames with P3D like fs9 nowadays but much much better graphics.

simply add it into the scenery library yourself. Select "Add scenery" and point to the folder of Dubai.

FSX Steam Edition

Post by goshob » Sun Oct 22, 2017 7:36 am

Hi,
I am using FlyTampa Dubai scenery on FSX:SE, Windows 10 and with AS Airbus 320. There are always problems when landing on RWY 12R using the auto land facility of the AC. I strongly feel that something is not correct with the GS for this particular runway because there are frequent messages for unstable flight during approach and very high descent rate, which always ends up in a very rough landing. Rate is -700 ftm and above.
Can anyone comment?

I recently had to uninstall FSX SE and reinstall it. When opening FSDX SE, I get a window telling me that scenery file 121 is missing and I need to click on it to continue. I then get a similar window for each scenery file through 132, having to click on each one. FSX seems to open fine after that. When I review the scenery file it appears 108 through 0200 may actually be missing. I decided to ask you all first before I started setting up FSX in case I need to install it again. Hopefully, you can just send me a link to a new scenery file. Thank, should you have any suggestions, please let me know.

You shouldn't need to reinstall FSX. There are some 3rd party tools that can organize and "fix" the scenery.cfg issues for you, or you can do it manually in notepad. Basically just check where the gaps in "area=xxx" start and then renumber everything below that so its in order again.

hi flytampa,

i have a question.

i have got black textures in my flytampa sydney scenery. i think the problem may be that i think i accidently deleted the sydney_lc folder. if u could maybe send a re installation for flytampa sydney including the lc folder as well that would be great.
