FlyTampa Ortho4XP conversion tool

Hello again,

Just noticed that I have a problem after conversion of +39+020 tile. I have a part of default xplane terrain that appears on the south east border of the tile. I checked my original ortho4xp tile and it is complete and does not show this problem. I run the conversion tool again but the result was the same. I checked the order of the scenery.ini and all is fine there too. My original tile is Bing ZL16. The tool converted 158 textures out of it.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Did you notice any errors during compiling at the shell window? the number of dds's is correct though..strange
Please provide a screenshot showing this area.

Thanks for the fix guys. You make the best scenery out there. I trully hope to see LGAV and the rest for X plane 11. I'm crying inside without them so far but Im not going back. Cheers

When i'm loading the scenery in x plane i get this error:

***Error with scenery file "+39+020.dsf" (io_dsf.cpp:813.)***
0:00:36.094 E/SCN: Unable to load draped polygon file 'Custom Scenery/Photopolys4FlyTampa_+39+020/polygons/49616_72816_BI17.pol'

any help?

Sorry for the delayed support. Please redownload the updated tool. A bug was tracked and fixed

If you get closer and reload, does this fix the issue? If yes, then gpu can’t handle so many pols. ( usually happens when you slew over ,and rarely if you fly in normal speed). But in any case, draped polygon textures demand a lot from the graphic card.
If the problem exists after reloading scenery, I’ll contact you via email to solve the problem

Sorry guys but I didnt get it working with this Ortho tool. I installed everything as per manual but these Photopolys4flytampa folders will not be created. I tried the Tool directly inside the Ortho/titles folder and as well in the custom scenery folder of the title but these Photopolys4flytampa never appears
Where is my mistake?

Hi,

I am facing an extremely weird issue at all the airports I am trying to use the tool at (LGIR, LGAV, LGKR): My Xplane just wont load when I have the photopolys active, it just crashes when loading them. I already tried disabling all other sceneries, all plugins and so on, no luck. Reinstalled the scenery, no luck. Reinstalled the photopolys, also in different zoomlevels, no luck.

I am trying to use a ZL17 Bing tile with a single zoom level.

Attached to this post you will find my log.txt and scenery_packs.ini

Would be great if anybody could help,

hello, i am having the same problem with the ocean not looking normal but with heraklion. I have tried different ZL but doesnt work i have also installed latest version, do you know what is happening?
