St Martin Grand Case

Hey flytampa,
first let me thank you for all these sceneries you make, driving us… I mean flying us to the real place each times you release some stuff and … I wanted to ask you if you could make the french airport name Grand Case !
Because everybody knows Juliana but don't even Grand Case.
Just a suggestion!!!

Yes. I'm still a flytampa beginner, with only 1 Asian airport that I've ever bought from flytampa,
although my registration in this forum is more than 4 years old,
but it still works.

I've recently used TFFG Grand Case on board the default fsx Baron 58, after I found out, that if you try to fly
Air France 747-400 tribute flights (pmdg),
e.g. from Orly to TFFF Fort de France (Martinique), you don't use Princess Juliana for a connection flight, but

Grand Case. The flights are: Air Caraibes ATR72, from Fort de France to Grand Case, and back.

I've never bought flytampa Princess Juliana, because that's never been an important airport in Germany.

And, George should forgive me, Grand Case is an airport that also in default fsx resolution is not that bad.
I know fsx airports where a flytampa treatment is much more urgent.

My wish? Flytampa KEWR fsx, with a special focus on:
- the perfectly circular KEWR satellites
- perfectly animated parking positions for the intercontinental jets of (in alphabetical order):
Air India, Austrian Air, British Air, Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa, Swiss and Virgin Atlantic.
- frames per second, which, as I've perceived it, has never been a problem, at least not for me, but there are fsx pilots at default KEWR, who additionally use ... pmdg B747-400 fsx, mesh enhancement for the whole planet, and
if they really suffer from boredom, one or two Ultimate terrain X products.

Btw, I know that there has been a KEWR fsx product in the past, but I've never bought that. Because not every fsx airport add-on is perfect, if you come in a pmdg fsx jet, keyword frames per second.

Back on topic:
It's a pity that German airlines have never discovered Caribbean airports like TNCM.

I'm with Ruddyn regarding Grand Case. It really needs a makeover. I was quite surprised when they released TNCM AND ST. Barths and SABA, but didn't do anything to Grand Case. I know TNCM have gotten an update with the new bridge etc, but St.Maarten is obviously a place that changes all the time. Just take the Caravanserei hotel or Alegria as it's called now and Sunset bar have had a total rebuild. Just hope FlyTampa at some time will do the whole Island with both airports in full detail,

I wish that they would create EWR as well. I believe the reason why most high end airport developers haven't in the past has been because of how performance draining the entire New York area is by default. However, with the advent of P3D v4, I think that a EWR could be done more feasibly. Since FlyTampa does a lot to the surrounding areas of their airports, I would love to see what they do to the port surrounding Newark. Would truly be amazing!

What would be perfect it’s that all the island is made . Delete the default scenery
In addition the default scenery is the source of error compatibility with ftx Vector because of St barth island. The mesh in St maarten is raised

It would be a nice add-on indeed, but I'm not very hopeful. FlyTampa isn't exactly known for including other nearby airports. For example in Dubai they didn't even include Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum) which is the secondary Dubai airport and totally missing in P3D. Sometimes you don't want to fly into the major airport but into the other airport that is next to it.

That is pretty standard amongst Airport developers who choose to include surrounding scenery in their products - any other airports in close vicinity to the main airport get not as detailed renditions.

I was more of a fan of IMSA/ALMS when they ran all four classes of cars that also competed at Le Mans. It was especially wild when LMP675 would outrace LMP900 cars on shorter tracks like Laguna Seca.
