FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
Hi all-
Thanks for a great airport and outstanding effort. You guys are getting better and better with every release!
As noted in the subject line, FSGlobal causes what appear to be multiple elevation anomalies when flying low with the stock R22.
When I disable FSGlobal, all seems to be fine.
I'm not running Orbx SCA, just Global and LC.
Thanks!
Mark

Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
Thanks, appreciate it !
Trying to look into it, although we have followed the real-world elevation data here, which is similar to what ORBX have done (minus airport elevation), so need to check what FSGlobal uses, and see if we can override it.

Thanks for looking into this. I am having the same issues. Besides the trenches I also see trenches developing when approaching the 26 runways.

Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
Go to https://www.pilots.shop/Cms/Default.aspx log into your account. Under FSGlobal you will find AFM2 download. That should fix the issues.
Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
First thing I did. Still have elevation issues.

Doesn't work unfortunately.dgraham1284 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:09 pm Go to https://www.pilots.shop/Cms/Default.aspx log into your account. Under FSGlobal you will find AFM2 download. That should fix the issues.

Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
Don't use Fs Global. It messes up all airports since fs9.
Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
I turned off FSGlobal until this gets resolved.

Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
I have no issues when using that and disabling corresponding orbx files.

Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
I'm glad it works for you but for me and others we are seeing the following. Its like the FT KLAS tapers down and the FSG NG will not adjust, even after I applied AEC and then AFM2. I have no duplicate AFCADS and this is a fairly clean install. Once I turn off FSG NG NAM does the problem go away. This is off of the 26 runways heading east. The wall you see actually moves as I fly over it. Once I'm a few miles away the wall no longer moves and I'm over flat land again.dgraham1284 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 1:17 am I have no issues when using that and disabling corresponding orbx files.

Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
We ve found out the issue and will have an update in the coming days to make Vegas compatible with FSGU
Re: FSGlobal causes trenches flying down the strip
That is good news. It will be nice to turn FSGU back on.
