Tragedy at Midway
By now..most all of you have heard about the SW 737 running off the end of 31C at Midway Airport in Chicago...terrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the young boy who was killed and also my thoughts and prayers are with the SWA Capt and Co-Pilot...they have to be devastated...it was a lousy night ..weather wise..with heavy snow and I understand the plane landed ..with a tail wind...which didn't help stopping the plane...many times I have landed too long on 31C and barely stopped before ending up on 55th & Central....and this was within the Flight Sim World...imagine what the Capt. ..crew and passengers felt....hopefully lessons will be learned after this incident....Happy Holidays to all!!
