Is there any way to fix the issues with the crash detection? I am getting "collision with the building" by just taking off or taxi before the holding point over the water taxiway.
I would prefer if I don't need to turn off the realism setting, so I was wondering if I anyone knows of a fix or if this scenery can only be used with crash detection off.
Thank you

I don't mean to double dip, so please note I have already emailed support and am looking at this with support. If I have anything to share, I will post it later.

Re: FlyTampa Hong Kong & crash detection
I just buy Kay Tak scenery for P3DV4.2 and I have the same problem of colision with building when taxiing on the north part of the taxiway, whatever the type of aircraft.
I have checked that all other sceneries with Hong Kong or VHHX in the name are disable or renamed but nothing change
However, the only way I found to solve this issue is to set "scenery complexity" to low in P3D parameters.
in this case all the AI aircrafts disapear but I can taxi without crash.
Does someone have a better way to solve this ?
no solution found since 2014 ?
thank's
Didier

Re: FlyTampa Hong Kong & crash detection
About the crash, is it the same area as this: http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic ... 15&t=12078
Do you have FTX "Global Vector" installed?
If yes, see here:
https://orbxsystems.com/forum/profile/8 ... _section=1
"Apparently FTX Vector causes a crash somewhere on a invisible object on some of the taxiways, At VHHX this is solved by disabling the FTX_Vector_obj scenery layer,"
"Meanwhile disabling FTX Vector objects repairs VHXX"

Re: FlyTampa Hong Kong & crash detection
Thank you very much Martin for your fast answer
Yes you are right I have FTX Vector installed and the problem comes with one of the files of this library
It was not the same location than in your example (in my case it was at the conection point A9 of the taxiway close to the runway)
So I check and found which file excatly is involved , the wrong file is :
7824_OBJ_ExtrusionBridges_Highway.bgl
no need to remove all Orbx objects , it could be interesting to keep them alive for some other place
anyway, thank's, the issue is closed
