I continue to have the "crashing " problem at KMDW. Specifically, starting push back at B14, I immediately crash into an invisible object. I am using P3d v3.1 and have installed the fix, but the problem continues.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you
Michael

Re: Continued "crashing"
This problem goes away when you turn off crash-detection in settings? maybe delete the BGL contained in the fix completely from your Midway/scenery/ folder and see if that solves the issue.
Re: Continued "crashing"
Strange i too just had this happen to me...
Re: Continued "crashing"
I have the same issue at B14. Just purchased this so I have the most current version of the airport.
I captured a screenshot, but the forum isn't letting me upload it (it says i'm too new?). Odd, because it has let me post one before
Oh well.
Using the default B737-800, it happens when the nosewheel is at almost two-thirds of the way from the second perpendicular line to the third line, when counted FROM the terminal going outward (the first line being closest to the building, in my description here).
What is REALLY odd, is that when testing this, I could slew to that position. Sometimes, when I returned from slew mode, it would "Crash!" right away. Sometimes though, it would be fine for several seconds before a "Crash!". I would venture to guess that this is a VERY specific spot and my slew attempts weren't always perfect, but I was wondering if this could also be some stray bounding box from an animated element or something?
Just to note, I have crash detection on, but aircraft/vehicle collision detection OFF.
Hope this helps!
EDIT: After further testing and a lot of slewing, it looks like it may be something with the jetways themselves as I can get a "Crash!" at ANY gate just by slewing the plane close enough to the jetway. Seems that it's just a matter of how the jetways are positioned in relation to their angle and distance from the parking line that determines whether you can successfully park there or not. (Also, just to be clear, the "Crash!" i'm referring to is actually a collision, not like a crash to desktop or anything like that
)

Re: Continued "crashing"
I just buy Kay Tak scenery for P3DV4.2 and I have the same problem of colision with building when taxiing on the north part of the taxiway, whatever the type of aircraft.Driver8 wrote:I have the same issue at B14. Just purchased this so I have the most current version of the airport.

I have checked that all other sceneries with Hong Kong or VHHX in the name are disable or renamed but nothing change
However, the only way I found to solve this issue is to set "scenery complexity" to low in P3D parameters.
in this case all the AI aircrafts disapear but I can taxi without crash.
Does someone have a better way to solve this ?
thankk's
