Hello all!
First off all, I want to say thank you to the whole FlyTampa-Team for making the sceneries P3Dv4-compatible so fast!
Unfortunatly I have got a little problem with Kai Tak.
The problem is, that the scenery is loading up very slowly in P3Dv4.
When I start a flight, the loading screen takes much longer when I am starting in the Hong Kong area (normally it takes about 30 to 60 seconds, with FT Kai Tak it takes 3-4 minutes!). When I am starting in VHHH and flying to Kai Tak, no buildings get shown, only after a few minutes the first buildings appear, and after another 5-6 minutes the whole scenery gets displayed correctly.
I tried it already without the Kai-Tak-LC Layer in the scenery library, I tried it already with all options ticked off in the Config tool, I tried reinstalling...
What can I do to get these load times shorter?
By the way, Hong Kong is the only city with these problems, all other sceneries like FSDT JFK+DD NYC X, CYYZ, YSSY and so on are working perfectly!
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards
Matthias

We noticed the longer loading times, have no idea why that is yet.

Thank you very much for your answer, very good to know that someone is taking a look onto this!
Re: Hong Kong loading slowly P3Dv4
I quick google search brings me to this thread. I am having the same problem. Take off from VHHH with over 30 FPS, fly over Hong Kong city and the scenery takes forever to load, which in turn brings down my FPS and also generates stutter. Hope this problem will be addressed.

Same here. My favorite scenery.

Also, when flying around the performance is horrible. Many of the high rises turn to black squares, and most building disappear then reappear SLOWLY as you get close to them. I'm sure its a simple issue, just wanted you guys to be aware.
