P3Dv3.4 and Dubai Rebooted Compatibility

My first post so, hello everyone. My finger hovered over the 'purchase' button but I aborted the purchase. Not because of the Scenery quality but because I don't want to break a perfectly operating P3Dv 3.4. populated only with PMDG's 777 series and their 747II v3. No add-ons or scenery has been loaded, as yet. So, has the general consensus of members here been that the scenery and platform, are compatible?
