Never usually have any problems or questions when it comes to FT material which tells just how good it is really...
In this case P3Dv3.1 and Sydney...Awful FPS on the ground, i have the YSSY config options toned right down, my settings for AI are at 45% and general settings in P3D very well laid out and realistic in regards to not shoving everything at maximum (i dont use Bloom). I have no performance issues anywhere really in P3D worldwide so it is strange that YSSY performs currently so bad, funny enough moments after takeoff (maybe a few seconds) once the wheels leave the tarmac FPS suddenly jump back up?
I do have ORBX Australia btw

Re: Poor FPS at YSSY in P3Dv3
Removing the 3d people can add 5fps.
Another few fps can come from Lamp & Flood light FXs.
Orbx AU definitely adds a significant hit to performance & VAS usage.
P3D 3.1 has been good for me. I get 40fps in a complex VC.
Maybe check the p3d settings for shadow or reflections that might be hurting it.
It is a big complex airport, so don't expect it to run at 100fps.
