Are you sure about this? I doubt it. The "logic" in the scenery library was and is always in a way that the more generic the addon, the lower it has to be in the library list. Means: as FTX Global and FTX Vector are global addons, they actually shoud be as low as possible. For sure, local sceneries like Athens need to be on top of global addons like FTX Global or Vector. So, for me, there is absolutely NO surprise, that Athens is only displayed correctly if FTX Global is below in the scenery library. I do not know if P3D changed this logic, but for example on my FSX setup, I put FTX Global and FTX Vector very low, just above the basic FSX scenery entries and below each and every local addon, even lower than the FTX Regions like PNW or North California.

Might be a simple confusion: top priority could also mean as low as possible in the scenery library, as at least FSX starts to read the library from below. So, what is on top of the list is loaded last. That's why LC folders always need to be below the scenery folder, otherwise the scenery would be loaded earlier than the LC folder, which is obviously not working.

I might be wrong but I do remember it was written by ORBX sometime ago, I'm trying to find it over the forum.
You can see those forum talks:

http://www.avsim.com/topic/454977-orbx- ... ary-order/

I will try later on to change the order and see if it makes any change.

Did you remove the older version of athens before installing?
...& check you have ZGAV_ADEX.BGL in the FT Athens Scenery folder.

- I did remove the old version and checked for leftovers
- I rebooted my system
- I Installed v1.6 again
- ZGAV_ADEX.BGL is present

Below a screenshot after removal showing stock LGAV. Nothing weird:

Hi Guys,

I am also having this issue with 3d bridges in 1.6
I had a clean installation of P3D V3 and this was the first scenery to install.

However, I noticed that sometimes it will load OK, or it will take a while before the 3d area starts to work.

There can be a temporary flat sometimes. It usually fixes itself after reloading & isn't perminant.
It used to effect my setup back in FSX. 1 in 25 loads would be flat. I've seen it at Montreal too. However, its not been a problem in P3D V3 yet. Just some weird fs terrain bug I guess.

Hi George; in addition to the mail I have sent. Also after deleting and rebuilding my fsx.cfg everything was fine. So I put back my old FSX.cfg and deleted my [trusted] section, and now it is working... The good old FSX quirks I think...

I understand this was marked as solved. But It appears to be a band aid and would create issues elsewhere. I suspect you Orbx Library insertion points are incorrect. If you go to FTX Central you will see a tools tab and insertion points. It should look something like this:

Sorry to dig this old thread up again; but I still have this issue. And I have the feeling that is has to do with the amount of add-ons loaded in the sim. I cannot determine exactly where it goes wrong. I have never experienced this before v1.6; so has anything changed regarding to the ground elevation?

I know you don't have any orbx stuff installed but the Orbx Libraries for some reason do cause the tunnel to render flat, only if you fly into the airport or load it from another location. The tunnel is fine if you start the sim at Athens.
This might just be P3D. I've not tested FSX for a while.

After deactivating the Orbx libraries the tunnel always renders correctly.

I've no idea which file causes the problem. It might even be the Object.dll they use.

The train only works in fsx I'm afraid.
