KTPA Afcad2 Beta3 (01/03/2004)

Either one of the following BGL files needs to be saved to the FlyTampa-Tampa/scenery folder. Not both, just one.

AF2_flytampa_ktpa.bgl
This is the normal one with all parking positions

AF2_flytampa_ktpa_aerostat.bgl
This one is for use with the static aircraft pack

If you have a file called "fs9_ktpa_full.bgl" (or similar) in your FlyTampa-Tampa/scenery folder, it needs to be deleted.

Does this correct the ILS frequencies?

It *should* correct all ILS issues. The "should" is the reason this is *Beta3*. If it doesn't work let me know.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the new file. ATC did call for the use of the ILS 36 L with a north wind. However, I did not receive glide slope information. Only the localizer? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Scott: Get the file on the website, it is newer. From what I see looking at the Afcad2 "glide" is checked for 36L. Let me know if the problem continues after installing the new file

It seems that the afcad works fine, but, I am missing DME's on most runways. Is this normal?
Also, I have the latest afcad installed but after I updated fsNAV, it still give the alternate freqs for the ILS and I don't know if the heading are correct, more then once, I flew the ILS and came several feet next to the runway, not the center line....

one last note,
With PAI traffic installed, the gates are correct, but the planes sometimes don't use the correct gates, they have their ID's assigned, but they still go to other airside, for instacne I have many USAIR planes at the southwest gates, and some American Airlines planes in the delta gates....is this just an FS bug?

36R and 18R are the only runways with DME. About PAI not using the correct gates I'm really not sure why that happens. I have expienced a similar problem a while ago with SWA never using SWA gates (at random airports incl TPA) but couldn't track down the problem.
