Black Runway after installing TNCM V1.8

Hello Gang!

I just installed TNCM version 1.8 and my runway as well as parts of the taxiway and ramps are BLACK (See screenshot for reference). I have uninstalled my previous TNCM scenery version and I have re-installed 1.8 twice to no avail. I am not running DX10. My specs are as follows:

Windows 7 Pro SP1 with all updates
Intel Core i7-3770K CPU running at 3.5ghz and OC'd to 3.7Ghz
32GB of RAM
64bit OS

I have updated all my other FlyTampa sceneries with the latest versions recently released (except KBOS) and all are working perfectly except TNCM. I've also deleted the FLyTampa Libraries folder (de-installed it) and it made no difference.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

see if you can find some file labeled:
/FlyTampa/StMaarten/scenery/*oil*.bgl

Disable that and see if the problem goes away. I cannot check right now, I may have also made Pavement Oil an option in the Config Tool. If you find it there you can disable it there instead of doing the file above.

Hello Martin and greetings.

Unfortunately I am unable to check this until next Friday. Boarding a flight at this momento to Brazil (business). I did select the oil option on all sceneries so this might do the trick. I will report back next Friday once i am able to verify this.

I am back and I was able to verify your suggestion......NO DICE. Disabling oil did not do the trick.

Any other recommendations?

Hey Martin!

I've figured out the issue. When disabling the Pavement Wet FX in the configurator for TNCM the issue disappears.

Hy folks,

Here´s my feedback about this issue:

1 - Didn´t find any file with *oil* or something as sugested by Martin;
2 - Have tried to disable Pavement Oil in the configurator, and still have no texture on the runway
3 - Problem solved when I uncheck the Pavement Wet on the configurator.
