Hi,

why you beg for an FS9 version here? There is already one on the market. :D

Besides that, none of FlyTampa's staff, even keep FS9 installed anymore, which makes any support really tedious and difficult... (and I really can't blame them).

I just think, that we have to realize, that time moves on - even though FS9 is a great simulator - it just doesn't support the modern development techniques. It's the end of an era - there's a reason, that new FS9 releases are dwindling ...

Anyway, I don't know what to tell you guys - you're welcome to hope!
... but I really doubt it will happen.

Cheers,
Well, 39 posts may not seem that much, but you have to remember that first of all not every FS9 user takes the effort of creating an account (I did it specially to react to this topic), and second: since FSDT for example quit making their sceneries compatible with fs9 I didn't take one look after it at their forum, since I won't be buying any products for fsx at all. I am still checking this forum though since George didn't say a clear no for a new fs9 scenery, but since the last sceneries were released for FSX, why would the majority of FS9'ers take a look at the forum?

But thanks for your polite comment as a FSX-user, there are a lot of people around who are just being rude or childish (he-who-does-not-have-to-be-named  ) and there is no need for that.

Kind regards!
And thank you, for a polite reply... most FS9 users tend to flip out, when you mention this topic *sigh*... refreshing to see someone online, who has some manners... :)

Yeah me too. +1 for the FS9 version.
Look at the amount of Vancouver FS9 downloads on avsim (yeah, I know it's freeware but excellent) and have an idea of potential FS9 buyers for the Sydney scenery

+1 for Sydney and Toronto.

What about a kickstarter/presale system, where we could pay in advance for FS9 versions? If enough of us put the money up, would that get things going? How many orders would that require?

Aerosoft still do FS9 for most new Mega Airports, and all the UK2000's are FS9 ready.

I think that could be a great idea, if it isn't too much time effording to make such a pre order system for FT :D

Even though I would love to see FS9 versions of the latest FT releases, I already lost my hope with the lack of updates of LOWW and TNCM, which were only released for FSX/P3D.

The project79 team wrote to a facebook user that perhaps they will also make FS9 versions for Jeddah and ABha and may be others like Ar Riad.

Warsaw of drebcewiki design will also come for FS9 soon.

FS9 still makes lots of fun!
