I bet we could open an unofficial beggin thread for CYYZ as well :), I would love to have that one too. But I would be more than happy if they do at least one of them for FS9!

Dear FlyTampa Team, as already other flightsimmers wrote, I am purchasing nearly every FS9 scenery that is published just because they show up is such small numbes nowadays. FS9 is still my preferred flightsim and as long a I see good products coming out, this will not change. Looking at download numbers for freeware the customer base for FS9 products still seem to be sufficient and the relationship is approx. 60% FSX and 40% FS9.
But still I don't know if this is a business case for FlyTampa.
But honestly, I would by CPH, YYT and SYD right away if they would be available for FS9. Please consider......

Bet if you spent as much time flying FSX as you do lurking in the FS9 threads with your witty pix, I would bet you could log quite a few hours (I know, you are not supposed to feed the trolls). I am very ready to buy anything FlyTampa would produce for FS9 (which is very much alive and well thank you very much!).

Heck, you could charge me 2x and I would buy it :)

60 FPS with all settings maxxed into YSSY with all those red and white tails after the long haul from KSFO. Yes please.

Benccp15,

Lets keep this thread as an indication of interest levels in a Sydney product for FS9 rather than FS9 bashing. Many people still fly FS9 and theres nothing wrong with that...if you don't like it, great, nobody is stopping you from playing FSX/P3D.

As already stated from George (or was it Martin?) - the newly scenery developments, use so much technology, which isn't possible to be ported to FS9 (or would require a large amount of work)... it just wouldn't be feasible... and so far we have - what? - 36 posts in this thread? - Hmm ...

Besides that, none of FlyTampa's staff, even keep FS9 installed anymore, which makes any support really tedious and difficult... (and I really can't blame them).

I just think, that we have to realize, that time moves on - even though FS9 is a great simulator - it just doesn't support the modern development techniques. It's the end of an era - there's a reason, that new FS9 releases are dwindling ...

Anyway, I don't know what to tell you guys - you're welcome to hope!
... but I really doubt it will happen.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Well, 39 posts may not seem that much, but you have to remember that first of all not every FS9 user takes the effort of creating an account (I did it specially to react to this topic), and second: since FSDT for example quit making their sceneries compatible with fs9 I didn't take one look after it at their forum, since I won't be buying any products for fsx at all. I am still checking this forum though since George didn't say a clear no for a new fs9 scenery, but since the last sceneries were released for FSX, why would the majority of FS9'ers take a look at the forum?

But thanks for your polite comment as a FSX-user, there are a lot of people around who are just being rude or childish (he-who-does-not-have-to-be-named  ) and there is no need for that.

Kind regards!

I am a 100% FS9 user.

I would welcome a Sydney scenery for FS9.

But more important for me is DubaiX V3 for FS9!
