Hey guys,
now that FlySeattle will be out quite soon the big Question about the next Project comes back to mind again. We all know FlyTampa reviews forum suggestions made by customers.
Even with the upcoming products site there had been dozens of discussions and rumors about "The Next Big Project" the last several months, with suggestions of Airports that cover the entire globe.
As I dont want this post to drift in topic and end up in another suggestion post, I just want to ask wether FlyTampa already decided on the next project anf if so will there be an announcement soon?
Greetz,

Patrick, EDDT

Here is some insight as to why there won't be an announcement until I'm very close to releasing. After Midway was finished I started working on a new project and 1 month into development I figured out the scenery would have an issue which cannot be fixed. Not something thats my fault, just another limitation of FS2004 I wasn't aware of. Since this was something I wasn't happy about I decided to postpone the whole project for a later time (FS2006 possibly). Now I'm looking at yet another location which I plan to start working on within the next days.
So you see, not having early announcements allows me to do such things without having you guys waiting for a specific scenery.
PS: The scenery I had to ditch/postpone has been requested. The alternative I'm looking into now has never been mentioned to my knowledge and both locations are far far away from every other scenery we have released in the past.

Martin,
thanks fro your explanation, and you know what, I must say its refeshing to know that you are already hard at work, and i'm eager to see what is next of course! LOL
BTW your approach to me is quite logical, no hopes up to be dashed, bummer that you found alimitaion but then again that just shows your pushing the envelope on scenery design!

Martin,
why don't you listen to the customers and finally give us a great KLAX as the next project instead of starting any experiments on other location which let's you run into trouble.
I really want to know what are your obligations against this location as you really know that this one would be a best seller.....

Bodo: The thing is that this little venture of ours isn't money driven as some may assume. If it was I wouldn't be doing airports like Midway.

I think we really need to focus on airports that have never been done. Areas SF has covered really don't need to be touched yet until we get more for airports that have never been done. They are not bad, just intense on frames. KSEA was a great choice.

Sydney would be fantastic as it would provide long haulers with another great destination like Dubai.
As for the US i would love to see one of the big East Coast airports done KBOS,KJFK etc etc.
So many great airports so little time!!

So is it safe to say LGA has been shelved until FS2006/7?
