CYVR Scenery
Was wondering if Vancouver could be included in a future project.
This was scheduled to be done by Simflyers but they seem to have dropped off the Earth with any news so I am assuming the project is probably dead.
CYVR is one of the nicest airports in North America and a major hub for Asia flights.
Living in Vancouver also makes it a daily airport for me and many others that would love to see your great work do some justice to a beautiful city.
Thanks

I second this notion. Simflyers has dropped off the earth and off all their airports, CYVR was the one I was the most excited about. It would make a great FlyTampa location for sure. Lots of cool online events going into there as well, and it would be awesome to have the hop from CYVR - KSEA both being FlyTampa feilds!

SimFlyers hasnt dropped off the earth. John over there just posted last night they were about to post new screen shots of MSP. These scenery builders do this on their spare time. They have other jobs, and families. God forbid they dont crank out sceneries every 3 months.Brian Peace wrote:I second this notion. I totally agree. I lived in Vancouver for over 6 years, so I would love to see the airport done with FlyTampa's quality.Brian Peace wrote:I second this notion. Who cares about Simflyers? Even if they do eventually get it done, it will probably be an FPS hogger and won't come close to the quality of FlyTampa's products.aarskringspier wrote:SimFlyers hasnt dropped off the earth. I really just hope a high quality version of CYVR will come out before FS10, made by FlyTampa or not.

Correct me on this if Im wrong, but I do believe that Cal from Simflyers was assigned both of those projects when he worked for Simflyers. That is the reason that those two are much better then the rest of simflyers sceneries. I do agree those are some very nice sceneries, but nothing comes close to Fly Tampa's.

The last thing we have seen from SF was some screens of MSP that was in January. Since then they haven't even been bothering to answer questions in their forum. Maybe you got all excited becuase they popped up for once and answered a few. Congrats for them. I consider them dead, both scenery production-wise and customer support-wise.

Wow a little bitter arent we that these guys refuse to build scenery on your time schedule. John answers just about evey question asked over there. Why not start up your own company and build some scenery if youre in such a hurry?Brian Peace wrote:The last thing we have seen from SF was some screens of MSP that was in January.
