FS9 Unable to get weather before landing at LGAV

Hi I have LGAV Athens which works well but FS9 ignores that it exists as far as weather is concerned.

When I go into the weather menu LGAV shows on the map, but when I click select weather station it is not showing.
The flight plan route shows but does not finish at a airport.

AI traffic works OK and FMC etc.

Any Idea's

I'm not an expert with AFCAD related issues, but I don't think FS9s version of LGAV has an ATIS.
The default scenery doesn't either so its not just us. I don't think I can add one either.

The only solution for you maybe to tune to 123.40 which is a working ATIS at the older Athens Airport (LGAT).
It only seems to work in the air, so might be out of range.

The problem is not ATIS.

I have several ways of getting weather if there was any.

FS9 does not know that LGAV exists as far as weather is concerned .

FS9 doesn't recognize LGAV as a weather station

I cannot apply weather manually as there is not an airport to apply it to.

What I am going to do if this is not solved is to set Global weather to the real weather before landing , at least I will know what it is and which runway to use.

Hi I haven't solved the problem but I set global weather to LGAV real world weather before descent. Leaving upper winds as they are.
This worked well last night and the wind after landing was as set.

The problem is LGAV weather station has gone, I have tried to add it manually using notepad but it didn't work.

It looks that I will be doing this from now on.

Microsoft probably didn't have a weather station in their data at the time. FS9 is so old now LGAV was barely built when FS9 shipped.
