Any updates on upcoming releases?

Post by ER_PILOT » Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:54 pm

FlyTampa staff,

Just wanted to know if there are any additional updates on upcoming airports (KSEA, TNCM, KLGA) It was mentioned in prior topics that TNCM would be released "sometime" in June and KSEA was nearly completed. Any further updates would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks and keep up the hard work :D

There should be TWO airports out within the next 2 months.
One will be Seattle, the other a complete surprise :)

Seattle is kinda on hold despite only around 1 weeks worth of work remaining.
I have to work 70-80 hour weeks over the next 6 weeks.

Sorry guys.

But, you'll have something special from Martin very soon

So, if it is a "surpise", so it's not gonna be LGA?

Don't worry George. I hope Martin will really "knock our socks off." Same with yours, you guys make the best sceneries around. (although that group that made PVD is extremely good too.)

I think I might go make a SAN-SFO flight now. :D

Oh boy, I'm feeling the pressure now :D

It will be all over soon. My next release in in the last stages, beta testing has been going on for a while and I hope to release screenshots this week.

And yes, it is a surprise release, not listed or announced before. Some of you will hopefully be happy about the choice, others won't. The airport has been requested several times via email and in the forum as well i believe... just so you know that we do read all your requests.

Hi Martin,

no offense but would'nt it be better to work on the airports listed on the upcoming page first? I believe many people waiting for TNCM etc. "In between surprise-projects" are nice but extend the finalisation of the planed projects and that's bad for those who waiting. :)

I hope that I will be one of those who are happy with your secret project although I believe it cannot be a big airport though...

I have no doubt you will be disappointed. the airport is in fact so small and insignificant it doesn't even have international flights. It might be safer not to come and look.

Hehe, no GA airport, small but not that small. The largest airliners to land there are 757s I believe, but 737s are the predominant species there.
