You say that sales are not as good as compared to sales in the past, and I agree piracy is a bigggggg issue here. But when you ask for requests about the next airport, I totally understand where you are coming from with wanting to make an intersting airport, but do you really think there is a big market for the last few places that you have released?? Buf and the greidiens(or how ever you spell it). THose are regional airports, granted yes they are interesting thats for sure, but not a major demand in the market. If you look throughout this topic and over at fsdts two topics that are polls, look at the scenerys that are listed in them. BIG airports, that will draw alot of customers. LAX, SAN, PHX, IAH, DEN, EWR, YYZ, etc... Sure they may or may not be interesting, but they will draw sales. I personally think complaining about sales being weak is a two sided considering the past few airports that have been released by you guys.

I think you all should also look into getting FSDTS type of installer, I hear they are VERY hard to crack.

Just my thoughts.

HI bkircher, the thing is I completely understand where you are coming from and believe me i d love to work on something so big in the future, but the thing is they are a bit too big for me in my present situation, or they are being done by someone else. How about we reach a consensus here and go for something in the middle which is neither too big nor too small like....Athens?

How about we just give a donation to support George and Martin since we love FT sceneries so much? Just a suggestion if it could help. OF course as I read through the forum, the guys are right about doing sceneries that the public would like to purchase. Like myself, I purchase Buffalo, but use a virtual airline to get my hours built up everytime I fly Ex. Deltava.org. So flying out of Buffalo would not be such a great choice of flight for me, but I would fly out of JFK, ATL, FLL, BOS etc a lot more. I think you should do a little research from different forums as I see mentioned also in the forum. Maybe we can help you with some research also, well I wouldn't mind digging around see whats going on... Im sure any help would be appreciated.

Or YUL? Same scale as ATH. Although with either ATH or YUL sales will be very good. Many European users would gobble up ATH while NA customers (and Europeans) would jump on YUL....

I'm willing to bet we won't be seeing a "next airport" topic in the future.

Bottom line for me is that I will generally buy whatever FT makes, I even bought Granadas...although I never fly there.

I will continue to purchase FT products, whatever they make. If they are not supported, that's one less top notch scenery designer making airports. And by my count, there are only a few out there. US preferred, anywhere you can land a 737. :D

I personally would go for Athens because I like to do the island hopping down there. And I know you would do a kick ass job. Perhaps you could add the surrounding IFR/VFR islands as well like St. Maarten? That would appeal to both FS9/X users... I think...

I still think KGEG is a nice small airport but unsure about it's popularity. Every one and their grandmothers keep asking for something in Canada so I think something Canadian is a good way to go popularity wise...

The southwest needs development. KPHX would be a very good choice regionwise with the new KSAN, KLAS, KLAX, and KDFW nearby.. But as you said no$$

Maybe Tuson or Albuqerque IDK...

My second choice for a US airport would be KPIT. Pittsburg is a very good region to put an airport in the US. It's surrounded by ImagineSim sceneries and very close to the NY/Eastern Seabord airports and the upcomming KPHL. By best bet is KPIT. It's small and in a very good location.

Actually, now that you mention it, Tucson is a great small airport and it serves both the Southwest fans and military crowd.

Sure you could do that, I persoanlly would not buy it as per I rarely fly internationally. But out of all the big name places that are listed here and at FSDT, not all of them are being done. IAH/LAX looks to be like one of FSDTS next projects, but after that you could pick one. I know EWR would sell very well. Im trying not to lobby for a specific airport, but if I were, I would be requesting PHX every day because that is the biggest airport that is closest to where I live that has yet to be done since Simflyers. :P But, Im sure there would somewhat of a demand for Athens, but then again I dont know, I dont fly internationally so I would never buy it or know what is needed across the pond. In the past, it just seems like the US airports tend to out sell the international ones depending on the location.

I have Shez Ansari's SoCal airports and they're pretty good on the freeware tip. I wouldn't mind an SNA or ONT from FlyTampa though. MHT or BDL in the northeast are surrounded by other sceneries to hop around. RNO or FAT in the west also.
