I am pleased to announce the release of the fifth volume in my series of FREE sceneries for Microsoft Flight Simulator X to compliment your Fly Tampa scenery:

PW SCENERIES VOLUME 5 - THE LEEWARD ISLANDS

This volume covers all the islands immediately north of Guadeloupe: Montserrat, Antigua, Redonda, St Kitts, Nevis, Barbuda, St Eustatius, Saba, St Barthelemy, St Maarten, Scrub Island, Dog Island, Sombrero and all the small islets in between! . It features all-new accurate coastlines, landclass, waterclass, custom land polys, rivers, streams, roads with moving traffic, scenery objects and even wildlife!

This scenery is 100% compatible with your existing Fly Tampa scenery. There is a Fly Tampa compatibility mode for the installer which will ensure that this scenery does NOT affect your Fly Tampa scenery in any way whatsoever.

Your Fly Tampa scenery will appear on top. This scenery will cover all the other islands in the area.

There no less that twelve upgraded airports in this scenery, including one that is not in default FSX at all. All have been upgraded with AI parking and designed to be as close to their real-life counterparts as possible.

Airports Included in the Scenery:

TAPA - V. C. Bird International Airport, Antigua
TAPH - Codrington Airport, Barbuda
TFFG - Grand Case Airport, St Maarten
TFFJ - Gustaf III Airport, St Barthelemy
TKPK - Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, St Kitts
TKPN - Vance W. Amory International Airport, Nevis
TNCE - FD Roosevelt Airport, St Eustatius
TNCM - Princess Juliana International Airport, St Maarten
TQPF - Wallblake Airport, Anguilla
TRPG - John A. Osborne Airport, Monserrat - not in default FSX
SABA - Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport, Saba
COCO - Coco Point Airstrip, Barbuda
CODR - Redundant old code for Codrington Airport. All facilities have been removed so it is now just a placeholder.

See this thread for details and the download:

Enjoy

Looks great, but unfortunately I can't install it...

After selecting the appropriate options and clicking "Install >", the progress bar moves to about 20-50% and a pop-up window appears. The text says:"Input string was not in a correct format." and clicking on the "OK" button removes the window again. The installer is stuck after this and the progress bar won't move again. The only option is to abort the installer by clicking "Cancel".

All the other installers from your Series volumes 1-4 worked fine for me. This is really weird. Any ideas?

Hi musicpete,

A few others have had this bug. Our installer programmer Ashton got to the bottom of it yesterday. It is to do with the way your scenery.cfg is written. There is a simple fix, see this post for details:

http://www.fswaterconfigurator.com/foru ... 1#msg19061

We are working on a new installer which will get past any inconsistancies in the scenery.cfg, but it is not quite ready yet. In the mean time the above fix is perfectly safe.

I have also posted a hotfix in our PWS tech support boards which fixes missing parking markings at TQPF.
