Hello Gentlemen,

I would like to post a question: I'm using PMDG's 747s, and updated the two files with VHHX entries. I also added the VHHX SID/STAR v2.76
provided on the website linked earlier.

Yet, all arrivals and departures comes empty when I load the PMDG.
I can now well input VHHX, the FMC recognizes the airport and its runway(13/31), but all the SIDs and STARS are unavailable. As well as the ILSs freq.

Is it because the waypoint and navaids database no longer includes
the data needed in the VHHX SID/STARs?, And is there a way to add them again. I think I use the AIRAC 0805.

I can see the IGS13 well displayed on the screenshots, so there must be
a solution to that issue.

Thanks by advance for any help.

I have exactly the same problem!

I bought the PMDG 747 together with this scenery (just some days ago) so I thought the missing ILS would be a problem due to wrong FMC-navaids management.

Yesterday, I spent hours just to program a route from VHHX to Cheung Chau and back to VHHX, just a STAR and a SID. Not possible!

I have also seen those pictures of ND-displays, so it must run somehow.

Who knows the solution?

The SIDs and STARs are in the VHHX.txt file. You have to copy it into the <FS9>\PMDG\SIDSTARS folder.

Jakob,

I did that as well, first thing, of course.

Now, the FMC doesnt indicate any error message nor anything, but the DEP/ARR page only features the two QFUs 13 and 31, without any approach or departures available.

To sum it up, it doesnt read the SID/STAR txt file.
So my question is, again: do those of you who use that SID/STAR
added anything in the wpt/navaids database?

Thanks.

Don`t have the time to test it, today, but there`s an installer for PMDG procedures for 9dragons at avsim. Perhaps, that one helps.
